Samantha Ruth Prabhu is the new generation’s only pan-Indian actress who has proven her terrific acting mettle manifold. Her works speak for themselves, and the diva commands a huge fan base. For instance, a few days back, one of Tollywood's most notable producers, Chittibabu made derogatory comments about the actress’ career. He mentioned that Samantha’s fame as a star heroine is over and that it is only through cheap tricks that the actress promotes her work. In his words:
“Samantha did Oo Antava item song in Pushpa The Rise after her divorce. She did it for her livelihood. After losing the status of a star heroine, she is doing whatever offers she is getting. Her career as a heroine is finished and she cannot get back to stardom again. She should continue her journey doing the offers she gets." He also added that she uses sentiments and sympathy to promote her films. Now ahead of Shaakuntalam, she did the same trying to get sympathy saying she planned to do the role before she dies and went on record that she was unable to speak as she couldn’t get her voice out of her throat. Every time sentiment will not work"

When Samantha learnt about such nasty remarks being speculated about her, she decided to slam them with her befitting reply. Therefore, taking to her IG handle, she shared a screenshot of a Google search result on her phone, which read, ‘Why do people have hair growing from ears?’. After that, the screenshot also highlighted the reason behind such a medical issue as increased levels of testosterone hormones. This was no less than a subtle yet direct dig at Chittibabu who indeed has heavy hair growth near his ears.
The sudden news of Samantha’s divorce from her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya, in 2021 broke many hearts of their fans, who hailed them as a power couple. Nevertheless, while the decision to part ways was personal, people have often trolled Samantha for being the reason behind her broken marriage. For instance, Samantha had once shared a picture of herself with her pet dog enjoying some time together. While the picture was loved by many, she was soon attacked by a troll who mentioned that she would die alone with cats and dogs. Unexpectedly, Samantha being her sassy self, took note of such a remark and shut it with a befitting response:
"I would consider myself Lucky."

For the unversed, Samantha had quite recently been diagnosed with an auto-immune condition called myositis, for which she was hospitalised for some time. Although the actress has bounced back strong and healthy out of it, she was once trolled by a netizen who remarked that she had lost all her beauty post Myositis. And much like earlier, Samantha gave an apt response to the same and called out the troll with a savage response. She mentioned:
“I pray you never have to go through months of treatment and medication like I did .. And here’s some love from me to add to your glow.”
