Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the most gorgeous actresses in Tollywood. She made her acting debut with Gautam Menon’s Telugu film, Ye Maaya Chesave. With films like Kaththi, Their, Mersal, Rangathalam, Mahanati, Majili and Jaanu, Samantha has proved her mettle in acting.
On the personal front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu got married to the actor, Naga Chaitanya in 2017. However, the duo parted ways in 2021. It was on October 2, 2021, when they issued an official statement on their respective IG handles and penned their decision to part ways mutually.
Samantha has been away from social media for the past few days, and it created a lot of speculations about the actress’ health. On October 29, 2022, Samantha broke her silence and shared a picture from the hospital to announce that she has been diagnosed with Myositis. Along with the picture, Samantha wrote:
“Your response to the Yashodha Trailer was overwhelming. It is this love and connection that I share with all of you, that gives me the strength to deal with the seemingly unending challenges that life throws at me. A few months back I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. I was hoping to share this after it had gone into remission. But it is taking a little longer than I hoped. I am slowly realising that we don’t always need to put up a strong front.”
In the note, she further penned about her good days and bad days and how she is still struggling to accept her vulnerability. Hoping the phase to pass soon, the Family Man actress continued:
“Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon. I have had good days and bad days…. physically and emotionally…. and even when it feels like I can’t handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes. I guess it can only mean that I am one more day closer to recovery. I love you. THIS TOO SHALL PASS.”
After her separation from Naga Chaitanya, Samantha had a tough time dealing with her emotions. In an interview with Filmfare, Samantha Ruth Prabhu had revealed that when she had started thinking about her separation from her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya, she was worried about whether she would just crumble or die. However, the actress had added that she had found her true strength. Talking about the same, she had said:
"I know I'm still going to live my life and with all the issues that I now faced in my personal life, I was surprised at how strong I was. I thought I was a much weaker person. I thought that with my separation, I would crumble and die. I didn't think I was capable of being this strong...Today I'm very very proud of how strong I'm because I really didn't know I was."
Wishing a speedy recovery to you, Samantha!
