It was during the shooting of her debut film, Ye Maaya Chesave, when Samantha and Chaitanya had struck a great friendship, which had eventually turned into love. Do you know, Samantha and Chaitanya had taken 8 long years to confess their feelings to each other? After dating for some time, Samantha and Chaitanya had tied the knot on October 6, 2017, in a dreamy two-day wedding according to both Hindu and Christian rituals.
Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya had first appeared together in Gautham Menon’s film, Ye Maaya Chesave and were later seen movies like Autonagar Surya and Majili. But it seems like ChaySam's (loving called by their fans) fans are in for some surprise as their favourite jodi is all set to hit the screen together. On April 15, 2021, Samantha took to her IG stories and shared pictures with Chaitanya as the two came together for a shoot. Dressed in her traditional best, Samantha looked gorgeous in a cream and pink silk saree with a gold necklace, bangles and gajra in her hair. On the other hand, Chaitanya complemented her in a light blue kurta and white pyjama.
On February 14, 2021, i.e., Valentine’s Day, Samantha Akkineni had taken to her IG handle and had shared a lovely picture with the love of her life, Naga Chaitanya. Along with the picture, Samantha had written a hilarious caption, revealing how she had gotten lucky to be able to get a picture with Chaitanya. Her caption could be read as “Got lucky with this one @chayakkineni #vdaymush. For those of you asking for more pics of the both of us, the next scheduled date is Christmas... Approvals pending for birthdays, anniversary etc etc.”

A few months back, Samantha had featured on the chat show, Zoom Happy Space, where she had talked about her personal and professional lives. She had also shared how she convinces Chaitanya before posting his picture on her social media handle and had said, “If I have to put up his picture on my social media, I have to give him one month notice or he has to be in a really good mood."
On October 6, 2020, Samantha and Chaitanya had completed three years of marital bliss. To wish the love of her life, Samantha had taken to her IG handle and had shared a monochrome picture from their cousin, Rana Daggubati’s wedding. Posing with arms around each other, Samantha and Chaitanya had looked stunning as usual. Along with the picture, Samantha had written a beautiful wish for her hubby which could be read as “You are my person and I am yours, that whatever door we come to, we will open it together. Happy anniversary husband @chayakkineni” followed by a heart emoticon.
