Maine Pyar Kiya! Well, this is not just a movie that had made Bhagyashree a shining star in Bollywood, but it is also what sums up her life. Yes, the actress had decided to leave everything behind because she had fallen in love and wanted to be with the man of her dreams, Himalaya Dasani, forever. Not just she had bid goodbye to Bollywood just after one movie, she also had a runaway wedding because jab koi pyaar mein hota hai toh kuch sahi ya galat nahi hota hai.

Bhagyashree belongs to a royal Marathi family. She is from Patwardhan, the royal Marathi family of Sangli and her father is the Raja of Sangli. She had run away from her castle to be with her man and had tied the knot with businessman, Himalaya Dasani back in the year, 1990. The couple is blessed with a son, Abhimanyu Dasani and a daughter, Avantika Dasani. Their happy nest is what a perfect ever-after looks like! The actress often shares glimpses of her life on her IG handle and this time, her recent video is all about how she had harassed her husband once to get one of her wishes fulfilled.
Taking to her IG handle a few hours back, Bhagyashree shared a video, where she can be seen dancing with her husband, Himalaya amidst the snow-covered hills, with Chandni’s song, Tere Mere Honthon Pe playing in the background. The couple looked adorable as they enacted the song. It was in her caption that Bhagyashree revealed that right before they had shot this, she had harassed her husband. Well, only to make him recreate this beautiful video on this soulful song. Sharing the video, she wrote, “Since it was soooo beautiful, we had to recreate one of fav songs from Yashji's film, "Chandani" with 2 of my fav artists, #Sridevi & #Rishikapoor (miss them) Harassed my poor husband till he agreed to do this with me... Jab tak yeh zindagi jee sakte hein tab tak har pal ka lutff uthao... kya pata kal ho na ho...”
Bhagyashree is head-over-heels in love with her partner, Himalaya. Once Bhagyashree had reminisced about the time when she wasn't with her husband. The actress had recalled and had said, "Yes, Himalay ji was my first love and yes, I got married to him. Lekin ek arsa tha beech mein jab hum juda ho gaye the (But there was a period of time when we were separated). And I had that feeling that ‘What if I hadn’t got him in my life and I had married someone else?’ It got me to that stage because there was a period of a year and a half that we weren’t together. Woh ehsaas abhi bhi yaad aata hai toh darr lagta hai (I still get scared when I remember that feeling)."

In an interview with the Humans of Bombay, Bhagyashree had talked about her love story with Himalaya Dasani. She had shared, "We went to school together — he was the naughtiest kid in class and I was always the class monitor. We would fight all the time and the rest of the class would have a blast! We were like Yin and Yang — the more we fought, the more it became clear that we couldn’t be apart. We never dated though…he never even told me how he felt until the last day of school. He said, ‘I have to tell you something’ and then for one week he kept trying to say it but would always back out. Finally, I went upto him and said, ‘look, just say it…I’m sure the answer will be positive’ and that’s when he told me he liked me."
