The beautiful Bollywood damsel and the dimpled beauty, Preity Zinta is being missed by many of her fans due to her rare screen appearances. Right from her debut in 1998 with a supporting role in Dil Se.. to portraying the role of a CBI officer in the psychological thriller Sangharsh to her comeback in 2018 with the movie, Welcome to New York and Bhaiaji Superhit, Preity is still reigning everyone’s hearts. Preity walked down the aisle with her close pal, Gene Goodenough in a secret wedding ceremony in 2016.
Preity has been friends with many of her peers from the industry and one amongst those is her Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega, Jaan-E-Mann, etc. co-star, Salman Khan. On August 24, 2015, Preity took to her official Twitter handle and dedicated a tweet to Salman, revealing the one actor she used to be scared of was him. Coming to the point, yesterday, on March 11, 2019, it was a starry night as it was the wedding reception of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s son, Akash Ambani and his now wifey, Shloka Mehta. While many stars and biggies from the tinsel town attended the wedding, amongst all were Preity Zinta and Gene Goodenough. For the couple, it was a double celebration as yesterday happened to be Gene’s birthday as well.
Preity herself took to her official Instagram handle and shared a few clicks from the night along with the caption that could be read as, “We are all smiles after looking at the newly married couple @aambani1 & @shloka11 They look so in love & it is a super cute sight. After enjoying the Ambani celebrations, the couple quickly dashed off to Salman’s Galaxy Apartment. If the reports are to be believed, Salman held a special bash to celebrate Preity’s hubby Gene’s birthday, courtesy the thick friendship that they share. Yes, that’s right! As per the reports, the actor didn’t want to let go off this opportunity as he is always doting on his friends. In an interview earlier, Preity had opened up about how Salman is like a co-star. The actress was quoted as saying, "Salman is very cool. He is in his own zone. When I did films with him, he wasn't Salman the super super superstar. I did films with him where I had very meaty parts. So, it was fun working with him then. I don't know how girls feel working with him now. Because the whole story is centred around him.” And further added, "There are no rehearsals with Salman. You just got to get it right.
