It was on July 4, 2010, when Sakshi Rawat had added the surname ‘Dhoni' and had tied the knot with the man of her dreams, Mahendra Singh Dhoni in a private ceremony. Dhoni and Sakshi had stepped into the next phase of married life i.e., parenthood in 2015 and since then, Ziva Singh Dhoni has been the heartbeat of not just her parents but of their massive fan-following too. In 2020, Sakshi Singh Dhoni and Mahendra Singh Dhoni had completed a decade of their married life and to mark the same, the doting wife posted an array of pictures with a long note about how their journey of 10 years has been! Sakshi had written, "Walking together for 10 years has been teamwork. Building space for each others growth has helped us mature. Being mad at each other, at times, made us come closer. Prioritising the matters in life, made us realise the importance of those! Playing fair by not pushing each other has made us stronger. Working together through the ups and downs, made us understand the magic of love! Celebrating this day by being grateful to our parents, siblings, relatives and friends. Missing our loving and caring friends who have been our strong support system at all times. Thank you to all the loving fans, without them the journey would be bland."
During the pandemic, the artists on social media have taken the responsibility to keep everyone entertained and distracted with their amazing work. One such illustrator is Vedarani, a self-taught artist by passion. To acknowledge one of Vedarani's artwork of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Sakshi Singh Dhoni and Ziva Singh Dhoni with their pet pooches and his bike, the star-wife posted the caricature on her social media handle. Sharing a picture from their friend's bachelorette bash, Sakshi had posed for a selfie clicked by Dhoni while someone else had captured their moment. The former captain of the Indian cricket team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni had retired from international cricket and had brought down the curtains of his glorious 16-year-long career. Announcing his retirement through a video, Dhoni had written, "Thanks – Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout. From 1929 hrs consider me as Retired." Sakshi Singh Dhoni had posted a picture of Dhoni and penned an appreciation post for her hubby. She had written, "You should be proud of what you have achieved. Amongst the beautiful memories of Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sakshi Singh Dhoni, our favourite are the ones from 2018, when he had set major husband goals! Sakshi had posted photos of her Dhoni, down on his knees and helping his wife to buckle her shoes. Sakshi had teasingly captioned it, "You paid for the shoes so you tie them too!" Just as their fans were admiring over what a great man Dhoni is, within a few hours, Sakshi had uploaded another set of pictures of her hubby helping her put on a bracelet that he bought her. She had captioned it as "You paid for the band so you screw it too."
