Scroll down to know it all!
Reporting the COVID diagnosis of MS Dhoni's parents, ANI had tweeted, "Parents of cricketer MS Dhoni have been admitted here at the hospital after testing positive for #COVID19. Their oxygen level is stable: Pulse Superspeciality Hospital, Ranchi, Jharkhand."
Sakshi Dhoni took to her IG stories and updated her fans about her in-laws' health condition. She wrote, "Thank you, everyone for your concern. My in-laws are stable and are being taken good care of!! Your prayers will speed up the recovery."
MSD's team, Chennai Super Kings head coach, Stephen Fleming said that he had a chat with the cricketer, and the team management is providing the captain with all the support he needs. In his words, "Not a lot of talk about this (Dhoni's family) between the players. But from the management's point of view, we are well aware of his family's situation. Support has been set up for his family. I had a talk with MS and the situation is under control for now. We will monitor the situation for the next few days. It is a tough time for everybody, especially in India at the moment. We are spending quite a lot of time talking about care in the wider group of friends and family. We have that responsibility to ensure MS has the support that he needs. We hope his family recovers quickly."
Once in an interview with The Telegraph, MS Dhoni said that he would always regret not spending much time with his parents due to his professional commitments. In his words, "I feel awful as I am talking right now because I miss my parents. But at the same time I know I will have fair amount of time with my parents once I finish cricket, after these two, or three, or four years - whatever it is."
Further, speaking about how his country comes first and then his personal relations, MSD had said, "My wife tells me when I am not around at the house, 80% of the conversation is about me. But I told my dad, this is the time when I am doing something for the country, and the country comes first. I feel he really understands that."
We wish a speedy recovery to MS Dhoni's parents!
