Recently, a Reddit user shared some screengrabs of Saif Ali Khan enjoying his time at the Pataudi Palace. The three pictures were from different time frames ranging from 2019 to 2023. Sharing the pictures, the netizens pointed out that Saif Ali Khan has been wearing the same coat for the last few years whenever he's at his ancestral abode. The user's caption to the post can be read as:

Soon, the post about Saif Ali Khan's house coat created a meme fest on Reddit, with several netizens expressing their views on the same. A netizen wrote, "Jab alia ne saree repeat Kari tab toh log bahaut khush the. Ab saifu ne Kara toh uske paas ek hi coat hai?" Another penned, "Maybe it’s his dad’s or grandfather’s coat." A third user commented, "Maybe this coat is kept at the Pataudi palace and he wears it whenever he goes there…and even otherwise so what??"
Saif Ali Khan's palatial abode, Pataudi Palace in Haryana, is his most prized possession, as it is reportedly worth Rs. 800 crores and is also known by the name, ‘Ibrahim Kothi’. The last ruling Nawab, Iftikar Khan had passed the palatial home to the late Mansoor Ali Khan, who later transferred it to Saif's name. With 150 rooms, seven bedrooms, multiple drawing rooms, seven billiard rooms, and so many untitled rooms dedicated for multiple purposes, the property is spread across 10 acres of land in Haryana.

Saif Ali Khan often travels to Haryana with his family to spend some time at the Pataudi Palace. In one of his earlier interviews with Forbes, Saif Ali Khan reminisced about his days spent in the Pataudi Palace and revealed how the entire place reconnects with various fond memories of his family. Talking about his favourite spots inside his palatial abode, he said:
“I do not feel more at home anywhere else than at the Pataudi Palace. Every place else, somehow, feels rented and temporary. We have had many events here when the entire family–all the parents and kids–have gotten together, and these are some of my fondest memories in the place. From the middle of the palace, from an open chhabutra, you can see the moon and that is my favourite spot to sit in and look at the moon and the stars. My second favourite space is the library. Sometime ago, I renovated the palace and added some personal touches to it.”
