Krrip Kapur rose to fame with the serial, Jeet Gayi Toh Piyaa Morre and received a lot of praises from the critics and fans for his acting in the show. Talking about his personal life, not many people knows this but Krrip and his wife, Simran had married each other not once but twice, the first time when the two were supposed to marry, Krrip’s father had passed away on the day of their wedding and it was on August 5, 2018, when the duo had gotten married according to all the rituals. Now with God’s grace, the couple has entered into the next phase of marriage, that is becoming parents.
In an interview with The Times of India, it was revealed by Krrip Kapur that he is going to become a father very soon as his wife’s delivery date is falling somewhere in February 2020. But, the happiness has knocked to the couple’s door quite a bit early as Simran has given birth to a baby girl on 19 January 2020. The actor has confirmed the good news to the Bombay Times and said, “We have been blessed with Goddess Lakshmi. It’s an amazing feeling and Simran and I are on cloud nine. We can’t express our happiness in words. She is the best gift we have received from God, she has made us positive in just one day.” Not only this, his wife shared the happy news with netizens along with a cute family picture, also revealing the name of the little angel. She announced the arrival of their baby girl, saying, "Thank you Universe for our Baby Angel "Ray Kapur Suri" she is our Ray of hope, peace and love. She is everything we ever dreamt of. Thank you, Everyone, for your blessings and love." Revealing the meaning of their baby's name, Krrip said, “We have named her Ray Kapur Suri, as she is our ‘Ray’ of hope of peace, love, and happiness. She is everything that we ever dreamt of in life.”
The reason why the couple is extremely happy is the fact that both Krrip and Simran wanted a baby girl. It was revealed by Krrip in an interview with The Times of India that he wanted a daughter as he had stated, “We can’t describe in words how excited we are. Both of us want a daughter, but going by the kicks I saw during Simran’s sonography, I feel that it will be a boy (laughs!). As of now, I am busy pampering and taking care of my wife. However, Krrip and Simran’s married life is always there in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. As there were talks of Krrip being too much involved with his co-star, Aparna Dixit. However, the actor smashed all these rumours with a strong statement in an interview with The Times of India. He had revealed “If you share great on-screen chemistry with your co-actor, it doesn’t mean that you are dating her. We are paid to play our parts convincingly, and if we don’t share good on-screen chemistry, the audience will not like us. There was nothing between Aparna and me. My wife knows that and in fact, she and Aparna are good friends.”
The actor had also added and clarified the rumours of Simran dating a female colleague, as he had added “Rumours of Simran dating a female colleague are baseless, too. She was working at a production house and the bosses were impressed with her competence and diligence. Some people couldn’t digest that and starting circulating these rumours. Simran decided to quit the job. We are unfazed by the rumours of trouble in our marriage. We trust each other immensely and are going strong."
