Pakistani actress, Saba Qamar had won millions of hearts when she had portrayed the character of the late actor, Irrfan Khan’s wife in the hit film, Hindi Medium. The film was a huge hit and was widely appreciated by the audience and a lot many people had lost their hearts to the Pakistani actress. It was a few days back when Saba had broken not only the internet but also the hearts of many by announcing her wedding plans with Azeem Khan, who is a blogger and entrepreneur. And now, sad news has come from the actress as she has decided to call off her engagement with her fiancé, Azeem.

Yes, Saba has informed her followers and fans on her social media handle about her decision to cancel her wedding with Azeem Khan. Saba’s fiancé, Azeem was involved in a controversy after a woman had accused him of sexual harassment soon after he had announced his engagement to Saba. Now, Saba has called off her relationship with Azeem, quoting personal reasons.
Taking to her IG handle, Saba announced the news of her separation with Azeem Khan and shared that they are not getting married. Saba also shared that she had never met Azeem in her life and was only connected with him over the phone. Her post can be read as "Hi everyone! I have a very important announcement to make, due to a lot of personal reasons I have decided to call it off with Azeem Khan. WE ARE NOT GETTING MARRIED NOW. Hope you guys will support my decision just like you all have been supporting me always, and I guess it's never too late to realise the bitter realities. I also wanted to clear ONE IMPORTANT thing that is: I have never met Azeem Khan in my life we were only connected over the phone. It's a very hard time for me right now but as we all know 'this too shall pass' Insha Allah. Much love to you all."
Soon after Saba’s ‘We are not getting married now’ post, Azeem took to his IG handle and penned a note mentioning that he is ready to take full responsibility for their breakup. Adding Saba’s post’s screenshot, he wrote in his post, “@Sabaqamarzaman You have the most amazing soul and you deserve all the happiness in the universe. May God bless you with all the success and love. Difficult roads often lead to the beautiful destinations. XX And yes, I’d like to take the full accountability of the breakdown.”

Talking about the sexual allegations made on Azeem, the blogger had addressed them in a video message, denying them. In his video, thanking his supporters Azeem had also talked about how it doesn’t affect his relationship with Saba. In his words, “I don’t care about Saba’s past, neither does she care about mine. I don’t understand that why people make false accusations without knowing the fact and reality. You are ruining someone’s life just for fame. Our intentions are to purely settle down our relationship in a proper way which is ‘Nikkah’. Such people should be ashamed of what they are doing. I don’t care about Saba’s past, she doesn’t care about my past, the thing which matters to us is our future. Trust me we don’t care what people are saying. You are putting in an effort which will not lead you to any point. I hope that people will understand what I said and they will not waste their time now in spreading false news". Saba had supported him and had written, “I trust you” followed by a heart emoji.
