For a couple, there is no greater happiness than to take on the journey of parenthood together. Rucha and Vishal have given a sweet surprise to their fans by announcing their pregnancy news. Rucha had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a picture with her hubby, Vishal. Alongside it, she had written, "Baby it’s too much of chaos in the world as of now hang in there baby. I know for sure once you are out u will see the world in a new light .. so far so good..#staysafeeveryone #preggy_club." Since then, she has been sharing snippets of her pregnancy diaries for her fans.
On June 29, 2020, Rucha's husband, Vishal shared a video of their maternity shoot. Alongside it, he penned a loving note for the 'mommy of his baby' and it can be read as "Our family is about to get bigger by two feet @ruchagujarathi24 you are a superhero A strong, powerful person for whom I admire and love grows for every single day. you’ve never looked more beautiful. Every day I am amazed by you. Somehow, through some incredible feat, you are growing a human inside of you a baby who has hands and feet and their own fingerprints already! They have hair on their head and taste buds and eyelashes! And still, manage to get through each and every day while whole nation is fighting a pandemic." He further wrote, "The way you cradled your belly every time, the way you handled everything that’s come your way is incredible.

Soon we will be three. An unbreakable trio of love and adventures of our own. And it’s all because of you. So, from the bottom of my heart thank you my love, love you infinity beyond." In an interview with SpotboyE, Rucha had talked about her pregnancy amidst the COVID-19 outbreak. She had shared, "I am embarking a new journey altogether. So, every day the kind of love and suggestions I get from my family, relatives and friends make me feel so good. It's indeed a happy moment. However, the current crisis keeps disturbing my mind."
