Rubina Dilaik is one of the most outspoken people in the Indian entertainment industry. The diva has repeatedly expressed her strong opinions and shared her journey with her fans, which is why she even won the title of Bigg Boss 14. On her personal front, the diva recently embraced motherhood and is enjoying this new phase of her life. For the uninitiated, the Ardh actress, along with her husband, Abhinav Shukla, welcomed their daughters, Edhaa and Jeeva, into the world on November 27, 2023. 

Rubina Dilaik shared how motherhood has made her forgetful 

On April 9, 2024, Rubina Dilaik shared a new episode of her motherhood journey, Kisine Bataya Nahi, in which she shed light on life after becoming a parent. New mom and acclaimed comedian, Sugandha Mishra was the guest on the episode. The duo shared a lot about their motherhood experiences in the show. Rubina revealed that after becoming a mother to twin daughters, she has become very forgetful.

Rubina explained that she keeps thinking about what to say, but when she opens her mouth to speak, she goes blank as she forgets what she was planning to say. This mom brain's functioning is bizarre as it messes up with one's memory. Rubina also shared that most days she forgets which of the daughter she has fed milk to. For this, she now maintains a diary in which she notes down with time, which daughter has been fed and which one is yet to be. Rubina further added:

"Many times, it has happened in the beginning, and I don't remember who I fed the milk to. I have a diary in which it is written, for example, 2.45 Edhaa, 3.30 Jeeva. I have to write down the names of my baby I have fed. Because I forget that too. I have to write it down."

Rubina Dilaik and Sugandha Mishra shared that a mom should not give up on her dreams for kids

In the podcast, Rubina Dilaik shared that a mom should not abandon her dreams or ambitions after embracing motherhood. The child should be an extension of you, but don't leave your career and life for them. Sugandha, too, agreed and said that she read somewhere that a child needs a happy mom and not a perfect one, for which it is necessary to fuel oneself with dreams and not just give up on life to be a mother.

Rubina divulged that after having her babies, she has become more attached to her own mother 

Rubina shared that she is very grateful towards her mother for being beside her. She explained, that her mother helps her a lot to figure out the nitty-gritty of motherhood. After becoming a mom herself, her respect for her mother has increased by manifolds.Now she understands the importance of her mother much more than before. Rubina added:

"Thankfully, my mother is at home. People are blessed, whose mothers support them. The respect I had for my mom has increased. Her importance has increased. My mother used to say, 'I want to see my own house. I want to go back.' Like a little girl I requested her, 'No mom, not now. Please mom, don't go.' I became a child. And all the mothers I have talked to, they say hat getting back to your old life is not possible."
