RJ Mahvash and Yuzvendra Chahal have recently unfollowed each other on Instagram. In 2024 Christmas, the duo sparked dating rumours when Mahvash posted a snap on her Instagram where she was enjoying a dinner with Yuzi and his friends. From attending matches together to supporting each other on social media, Yuzi and Mahvash did it all. Although they never confirmed dating each other, their public outings and growing closeness told otherwise. A while ago, Mahvash shared cryptic poetry amid the ongoing feud.

On January 25, 2026, RJ Mahvash took to her Instagram handle and shared a video. In the clip, she narrated a cryptic poem to her followers. In the one-minute 12-second video, Mahvash shared a heartfelt poem written by her. The words of the poem were filled with both melancholy and hope. An excerpt from the poem can be read as:

"Tune har mushkil din pe khudko akela khada paya hai na ek din ye sab tere dost banne ke liye ek kataar mein khade honge har raat jis khwab ki fikr mein guzaari hai wo raat tere saamne sar jhuka ke khadi hogi Mujhe bharosa hai ke ek din ayega! Jab teri gaadiyo ki line teri umar se badi hogi ek din ayega jab jab tmhare maa baap ke nam ke tum ghuroor ho rahe honge us din tere dushman kya majboor ho rahe honge."

When RJ Mahvash revealed that she is 'dumb in love'

Earlier, in 2025, RJ Mahvash featured in a Hindi web series, Pyaar Paisa Profit. Speaking to Radio Nasha in 2025, Mahvash opened up about her personal life. She drew parallels between reel and real and shared that just like her character in Pyaar Paisa Profit, she too had made wrong choices in love. Mahvash mentioned that although she made wrong choices in the past, she thinks that it’s okay to fall in love and be a little dumb. Speaking of the same, Mahvash said:

"Just like my character in the series, I am dumb in love, but I also avoid red flags. My standards go below my heels when I meet the person; before that, they’re very high."

When RJ Mahvash called Yuzvendra Chahal 'caring'

In a 2025 interview with Instant Bollywood, RJ Mahvash opened up about Yuzi’s personality. Her response reignited the dating buzz. When the host asked Mahvash what she would like to steal from the cricketer, she proudly said that she wanted to steal his humbleness and his caring nature. She was quoted as saying:

"His niceness and how humble he is… He is genuinely one of the most caring people you’ll ever come across. He’s always available for the people he loves. I’d definitely steal that part of him."

After the 2024 Christmas picture featuring RJ Mahvash and Yuzvendra surfaced online, fans speculated that the duo was dating. Rumours were rife when the alleged couple were spotted together at the India vs. New Zealand Champions Trophy 2025 Finals. Multiple photos and videos from the event went viral, where the two seemed quite comfortable in each other’s company and were seen chatting.

After India’s remarkable win at the Champions Trophy 2025, Mahvash took to her Instagram and dropped a carousel along with a note. In the note, she called herself Team India’s lucky charm. Mahvash was a big supporter of Yuzvendra and his team, the Punjab Kings, during the IPL 2025. She shared multiple posts cheering for Yuzi and his team. In one of the posts, Yuzi commented and called her 'his spine'. The comment can be read as, "You guys are my spine! Thank you for making me stand tall always."
