While some of them are busy spending quality with their partners, helping each other with household chores, the times are gloomy for some other celebrity couples as social media is filled with a lot of breakup news recently. It often happens that the two celebrities meet each other during a show and fall in love. While some of those love stories end up with marriage, some have to go through the tough phase of break up. One such couple is Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi, who is rumoured to have called it a spilt after more than 6 years of relationship. Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi had met on the sets of the popular TV show, Pavitra Rishta and were not at all attracted towards each other in the beginning. It was in 2013 when Asha had realised her love for Rithvik, as she saw him filming a scene with another female co-star and had felt jealous. The couple never made any formal proposal or any official announcement, but Rithvik and Asha had till then became ‘Ashvik’ for their fans. The couple had always been an inspiration for millennials because the two were not just in a romantic relationship, but always had the vibe of being ‘best-friend before bae’. Of late, social media is filled with the breakup rumours of the two, breaking everyone’s heart and now Rithvik has shared something which probably hints towards their breakup.
Amidst the rumours of breakup with his long term girlfriend, Asha, Rithvik took to his Instagram to share a cryptic post on his story. Quoting J.M. Storm, Rithvik shared, "I laughed. I laughed like a kid when it dawned on me that so much of what I worried about wasn't mine to begin with. What people think and how they perceive you isn't in your power. And yet we let it rob us of who we truly are. All in the name of fitting in with the herd and that my friend is bullshit.” Well, only Rithvik can clear his stance post this cryptic post which neither agrees nor denies the rumours. According to a report in Pinkvilla, a source had informed, "The two have been dating each other for the longest time but things haven't been too well between the two, of late. Apparently, they are currently on a break and are trying to see if it can go any further. But, the dent is already being felt by close friends." Not just Pinkvilla, The Times Of India had also quoted a source saying, “Earlier, they would often hang out with their friends, but Asha stopped doing it about a year ago, barring special occasions. Something was amiss in their relationship for quite some time. In fact, both knew that the relationship was over long before they decided to move on. It looks like they outgrew each other. Having said that, they have handled the situation maturely. Both of them haven’t told their friends, but they are aware of it.
