UK Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak and his businesswoman wife, Akshata Murty are enjoying their visit to India to its fullest. The couple arrived in India on September 8, 2023, to attend the G20 Summit and their each appearance is grabbing a lot of attention. Now, Rishi and Akshata paid a visit to the famous Akshardham temple in Delhi ahead of day 2 of the G20 Summit. For the unversed, Rishi's wife, Akshata is the daughter of India’s billionaire Infosys co-founder, Narayana Murty and his educator wife, Sudha Murthy.
On September 10, 2023, the UK Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak and his his businesswoman wife, Akshata Murty were spotted at the Akshardham temple in Delhi. The much-in-love couple were seen seeking blessings at the temple ahead of the Day 2 of the G20 Summit. In the pictures from their latest appearance, the duo can be seen posing happily with the temple officials and the saints.

For his temple visit, Rishi opted for a white shirt, which he teamed with black pants. On the other hand, the First Lady of the UK and his wife, Akshata looked beautiful in an ethnic ensemble. She donned a light green-coloured floral-printed kurta, which she styled with pink palazzo pants and a matching dupatta. Bangles, hoop earrings, a bindi, minimal makeup and open tresses completed Akshata's look.
In a conversation with India Today, the official of the Akshardham temple, Jyotindra Dave mentioned that Rishi and his wife, Akshata spent 40 minutes in the temple premises. He also revealed that Rishi went barefoot inside the temple. Mentioning how Rishi is close to Sanatana, Jyotindra Dave stated that he offered flowers to all the idols placed in the temple and even performed aarti with his wife. In his words:
"Rishi Sunak had contacted us, asking to have darshan at the temple. He had aksed us what time he could visit. We told him he could come whenever he feels like. He performed aarti at the temple, met all the saints here, also offered flowers to all the idols in the temple. His wife also performed the puja. After meeting him, we felt like he is very close to Sanatana."

Earlier, on September 8, 2023, Rishi and his wife, Akshata Murty were spotted in Central Delhi. The duo were spotted enjoying some quality time together ahead of their dinner date and the start of the G20 Summit. In the pictures, Akshata could be seen holding Rishi's hand and they looked adorable. For his day out, Rishi opted for a white shirt paired with black pants. On the other hand, his darling wife, Akshata looked beautiful in a white-coloured t-shirt, which she teamed with striped pants. She accentuated her look with minimal makeup, a sleek hairdo and a purse.
