Daughter of veteran actors, Neetu Kapoor and late Rishi Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni tied the knot with her best friend, Bharat Sahni, on January 25, 2006. They embraced parenthood after the arrival of their baby girl, Samara Sahni, into their lives on March 23, 2011. Ever since then, the couple never misses a chance to make their princess, feel special.
On February 22, 2024, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and her daughter, Samara were spotted by the paps at the airport. Ranbir Kapoor’s soon-to-be 13-year-old niece amazed the paparazzi by posing for them delightfully. She walked out of her car and posed for the camera by wrapping her arms around her mommy's shoulders. Riddhima smiled and gently asked her daughter to walk away. As the duo approached the departure gate, Samara continued to wave and pose for the paps and left her mom embarrassed.

As soon as Samara's video surfaced online, netizens were quick to react to the same. While some slammed the baby girl for overreacting in front of the paps, others lauded her confidence. Meanwhile, a section of netizens also pointed out how Samara has evolved over time and now started being herself. Some other social media users mentioned that Riddhima was embarrassed by her daughter's actions.

On June 5, 2022, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni was spotted in the city with her mom, Neetu Kapoor and daughter, Samara Sahni. The trio looked gorgeous as ever in their respective ensembles for their dinner date. While Neetu donned an all-black ensemble, her daughter, Riddhima looked stunning in a shimmery top and black pants. On the other hand, Samara looked pretty in a white t-shirt paired with green-hued pants and styled her look with a pink sling bag.
In one of the videos doing rounds on the internet, Riddhima could be seen posing with her daughter, Samara and tried to kiss her. As soon as Riddhima leaned towards Samara to give a peck on her cheek, the latter turned her face to the other side. Samara's reaction was captured on the camera, and it was quite embarrassing for her mommy.

In a column for Free Press Journal, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni opened up about the traits of a hyperactive child and mentioned that it might irritate the parents. She also revealed that her daughter, Samara was also a hyperactive child and shared how both the mother and daughter got through the phase. Mentioning that her daughter started playing sports, Riddhima revealed that those outdoor activities later turned into hobbies. In her words:
"My daughter was a very hyper child. I didn’t know what to do. This was the only way that helped her and me through the phase. She started playing sports and doing a lot of digital art, and different activities that she enjoyed. It all turned into hobbies as time progressed."
