Just two months after the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, his actress-girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty got involved in several public disputes. She had to face multiple media trials and was accused of being involved in Sushant’s death case. With this, Rhea had become the subject of misogynistic abuse.
Not only was the actress incriminated of various theories regarding the actor, Sushant Singh Rajput's death, but had also become the centre of a remorseless hate campaign led by social media trolls and a few of India’s most prominent journalists. Every little detail of Rhea Chakraborty’s relationship and life was revealed and debated in public.
After having gone through the media pressure, mental torture and unfair allegations, the actress had taken a downright break from social media for a long period of time. However, ahead of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death anniversary in June, Rhea had taken to her IG handle to share a strong note on suffering and strength. In her post, she wrote, “From great suffering, comes great strength! You'll just have to trust me on this one... Hang in there, Love Rhea."
Though Rhea had not specified the experience or the learning, she had kept the post on a philosophical side. She had indirectly mentioned that it is coming out of her experience and had also advised people, who may be going through difficult times to ‘hang in there’. Fans in the comment section had written many positive and cheerful things as one person wrote, “ur sayingsss means a lot”. Rhea Chakraborty had hashtagged the post by writing, “#Rheality”, to which many artists and celebrities like Anusha Dandekar, Shaan Muttathil, Deanne Panday, had dropped comments on the post such as ‘my girl’ and several encouraging emojis.
The alleged suicide case of Sushant Singh Rajput had led to many high-profile personalities like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Aditya Chopra, and many more spending time at the police station, proclaiming their professional commitments with the late actor with regards to his career.
Apart from Rhea’s recent IG post, she had also shared a precious post earlier on the occasion of Mother’s Day, which was a valuable throwback picture from her childhood, where the actress could be seen feeding a piece of cake to her mother. Rhea’s caption for this beautiful post had read, “My beautiful Maa, I remember you said this to me when I was a little girl - "Happiness is within you, don’t look for it outside, find love in your heart and you’ll be a happy girl forever! "This carried me through life Maa, I promise I am trying my best. Happy Mother’s Day to all Mothers, we love you."
Overcoming all the tough times, Rhea Chakraborty will make her next appearance in Rumi Jaffrey’s ‘Chehre’ starring Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan. The actress is trying hard to make a comeback on the work front after all the trouble and shame that she had to go through.
