Following this, Rebecca, despite dealing with this health issue, continued to spread information about the same by documenting her life.
However, she passed away after choosing to undergo medically assisted dying. Her community has been mourning her death, and she was tagged as a brave woman. Before passing, Rebecca dropped an emotional note, which was her final post, as reported. In the post, she talked about the pain she had to endure and how it further made her a better human being.
Rebecca Luna's final post surfaces amid her passing through MAID
Rebecca Luna dropped her final post, just ahead of her passing away after undergoing MAID. In her TikTok video, Rebecca revealed that the decision to opt for MAID was hers only, while adding that living in her body had become utterly painful for her. Even though the days for MAID were near, it felt like too much to wait for the TikTok star. Luna further revealed to her fans that she had to endure a lot of pain in her life, and while it was extreme, it also led her to see her own worth.

Rebecca stated that she had suffered a lot, and that the journey made her realize she had a good heart. As the final piece of advice, Rebecca told her fans that one should always try to stand for themselves, which nobody did. She also talked about self-love while encouraging others, stating that if it was possible for her, it could be possible for anybody. She said:
"I’ve suffered enough in this world. But at the same time, the suffering has brought me to this place of, ‘I really know who I am and I really know that I have a good heart. I hope if I leave this planet that’s the only thing I teach that you just need to act your way into loving yourself. If I can do it, you can do it too."
MAID is a practice where a doctor helps their ill patient to end their life, using methods like medical aid in dying or euthanasia. Rebecca Luna chose MAID under Canada’s medical assistance in dying program. She grabbed attention last year, revealing that she had been diagnosed with young-onset Alzheimer’s disease. For those who are unaware, young-onset Alzheimer’s disease is a rare form of dementia that can affect people under 65; in general, people in the age bracket of 40-50. It has the same symptoms as Alzheimer’s disease; however, reportedly it progresses faster than late-onset Alzheimer’s disease.

Sharing the photo, Chris revealed that Rebecca was a mom to two daughters. People in the comment section also revealed the same. However, there's no official confirmation about Rebecca Luna's family and daughters, as of now.

The activist revealed that Luna chose MAID and left behind her daughters, even though she had a few years before her cognitive abilities would drop dramatically.
