Rashmika Mandanna is one of the most talented actresses in Indian cinema. She has made a name for herself in the South's entertainment scene because of her incredible acting abilities. Furthermore, the actress has a sizable fan base that extends far beyond the South. For the unversed, Rashmika rose to fame after the release of her blockbuster film, Pushpa: The Rise.
Apart from her acting and dancing skills, Rashmika Mandanna often grabs attention for her personal life. She frequently makes headlines for her rumoured romance with the Liger fame, Vijay Deverkonda. However, both the stars have consistently denied dating one another.
Time and again, Rashmika and Vijay relationship rumours make it around on the internet. And their fans never leave a chance to get a glimpse of the duo together. However, there was a time, when the South beauty, Rashmika was brutally trolled over a kissing scene that she had shared with her now rumoured boyfriend, Vijay Deverakonda in their film, Dear Comrade. Now, in an interview with Zoom, the actress opened up about the same and shared that it was really painful. In her words:
"The second it happened, it carried on for months. It was this, that, whatever. And there were so many painful moments happening and painful things I was reading, I was seeing. I have been through that. And I would have constant dreams where you know you feel like you are the only one and everyone has turned their back on you, and you are calling out for them. That was a constant dream, I don't know what it was, and I don't know how it was. I would wake myself up with such dreams and cry myself to bed, or even wake up crying."
In the same interview, Rashmika revealed that she could not even talk with her family about how she was feeling. Talking about the same, the actress said that it was the most challenging phase of her life as she was all alone in it. Rashmika mentioned:
"That was an extremely hard part that I had to go through. Your family is not used to it so you can't even open up to your family because my parents would never want to see me sad. Conveying something like this would really make them sad."
Talking about Rashmika and Vijay's relationship, then the two have consistently denied being in a relationship with each other. Earlier, in an interview with Mashable India, the actress had opened up about the rumours of her dating Vijay Deverakonda that have been swirling around for a long time. Talking about the same, Rashmika had said that these are all just rumours, and she finds them cute. She had even mentioned that she and Vijay are just good friends. In her words:
"It's all cute. See Vijay, and I have done so much work together, too early in our career. When we don't know how the industry is, and suddenly you work with like-minded people, you sort of like become friends, and you have a lot of common friends. I have this gang in Hyderabad, he has this gang in Hyderabad. And we have a lot of mutual friends. It's like that. It's so cute when the whole world is like Rashmika and Vijay, that's cute."
On the professional front, Rashmika Mandanna will be next seen in Vikas Bahl's film, Goodbye, along with Amitabh Bachchan.
