Ranbir’s love life has always been the talk of the town and on that note his life seems to be an open book. Recently, in an interview with a men’s magazine, Ranbir had stated, "It's a new person, it comes with new beats. Old tricks become new tricks again — you know, being charming and romantic, all of that. I think I'm more balanced today. I value relationships more. I can appreciate hurt and what it does to a person much more than I could a couple years back."
Recently, equally famous actor Ranveer Singh was asked about Ranbir Kapoor in his interaction with Famously Filmfare. On being asked what relationship advice would he like to give to Ranbir, he stated, “RK is his own person, he has seen life, he does not need advice from anyone else.”
Earlier on Koffee With Karan, Arjun Kapoor had revealed that he once took relationship advice from Ranbir and regretted it later. Arjun was quoted as saying, “Ranbir once gave me relationship advice and I ended that relationship the next day. So, I don' think this community of actors is very good at giving advice to each other at all. It was Ranbir's finest performance and considering he's done Barfi you can imagine. We were standing on the balcony. He looked into the darkness and said, "If you're not happy, just let go." And I was like ‘whoa!’ It was like an Imtiaz Ali film moment. I had an epiphany.” (Checkout: Sunny Leone Makes A Beautiful Wish For Herself On Her Twin Sons, Asher And Noah's 11-Month Birthday)
The 33-year-old actor further shared, “And I looked at my phone and I sent a message to her saying, 'We have to talk.' And the next day I ended it. I regretted it after about seven days but I had gone too deep into that breakup to go back. Thus, you shouldn't take any advice from Ranbir Kapoor."
There have been quite a number of fans who have been wanting Ranbir and Ranveer together on the silver screen. Recently, director Rohit Shetty has expressed his desire to cast them together in the remake of Andaz Apna Apna. In a Twitter post, Ranveer also wrote, "Hoping for something crackling to come along! very much looking forward to something in that space! Andaz Apna Apna 2?! "
Spilling beans on the same, Ranveer in the same interview shared, “I think it's a cult film and I think it's going to be difficult to live up to it. If you are planning to make the sequel of Andaz Apna Apna, you have got a big responsibility as it's one of those timeless comedies. And yes, I would love to collaborate with Ranbir as he is one of my favourite actors. There have been several opportunities and I hope one of them in near future materializes. It will be a very enriching experience working with Ranbir.” (Also Check: Deepika Padukone Reveals If She Or Her Husband Ranveer Singh Will Change Names Post-Wedding Or Not)
As we mentioned in the beginning, Ranbir is currently in a relationship with Alia Bhatt. The lovebirds seem to be very serious about each other, so much so that their engagement and wedding news have started floating in. A source close to the couple had revealed to Deccan Chronicle, “Of course, Ranbir and Alia are serious about one another. But right now, their focus is on seeing Ranbir’s father Rishi Kapoor fully recover from his illness. Only then will the couple take their relationship to the next level. So there is absolutely no truth to reports of a June engagement.”
It further went on to add, “We’ve never seen Ranbir more involved and committed. Alia is now very much part of Ranbir’s family. She gets along well with everyone in Ranbir’s family and is keeping tabs on Rishiji’s health as he recovers in the US. Why would Ranbir and Alia set a target of getting engaged after finishing their film together (Brahmastra)? In fact, after seeing so much of one another on the sets, they may not want to see each other for a while.” (Also Read: Sushmita Sen Teaches Beau Rohman Shawl How To Say 'I Love You' In Bengali, He Teaches Her Kashmiri)
