From being a perfect Ram to Leela and heroic Bajirao to Mastani, Ranveer Singh set a major #HusbandGoals! The duo made us believe in 'happily ever after' and that love triumphs all. For those who don't know, their love story started when Ranveer first saw Deepika at the Zee Cine Awards in Macau and he had felt the sparks in her eyes and butterflies in his own stomach, and rest, as we say, is all history.
While we are loving their cute PDA, we are eagerly waiting to see them in one frame. And looks like our prayers has been answered as Deepika gave us a good news of joining the cast of Kabir Singh's '83. Yes, on June 12, 2019, the actress took to her Instagram handle and shared a couple of pictures with her husband, Ranveer and director, Kabir. Our happiness has been doubled up, ever since we heard the news. However. it is Ranveer, who is super happy and his comment on Deepika's pictures proves it all. To show his excitement, the actor chose the right words as he wrote, "And this time we don’t die in the end! Yay!" The couple has worked in three films including, Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. Coming back to their love story, after Deepika and Ranveer took the plunge, they have been openly talking about their love. In an interview with the GQ magazine, Deepika had shared, "I think you just know when you want to spend the rest of your life with that one person – and he’s everything rolled into one man. He’s my best friend, playmate, companion and confidant. I can be silly in front of him, I can be stupid in front of him, I can be sick in front of him, I can be whatever I want to be." Deepika, who we know as an epitome of grace, is an exact opposite of Ranveer. However, this is what makes them a perfect couple. In the same interview, she had talked about Ranveer and how he is as a person. She had said, "He is vulnerable, extremely emotional, very intelligent; childlike at times. That's not to say that his irrepressible energy isn't him, it's very him. He's a real people's person, but there's a quiet side to him too."
In another interview with Pinkvilla, Deepika had revealed how it is the small things Ranveer did for her that made her believe in love and him. She had shared, "Over a period of time because it's the small things that he did and the little things that he said which made me believe and feel more and more that he's the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. The foundation of our relationship is just solid friendship and for any successful relationship, that's very essential. It started off on that note right from the beginning and over the years that we have dated, it only became stronger and stronger.
