During the promotions of Gully Boy, Ranveer Singh played a game of Taboo along with co-star from the film, Alia Bhatt. In the video that is going viral on social media, Ranveer can be seen holding up a card with Deepika’s name written on it, and Alia is trying to make him guess who is it. Describing the name, Alia gave Ranveer the clue, “Didi Meri, Bhabhi Iski (pointing towards the host of the show), Aankhe Sabse Khoobsurat Iski (My sister, his sister-in-law, has the most beautiful eyes).”
In no time, Ranveer Singh guessed it correctly, but without saying Deepika Padukone’s name, he addressed her as, “Yeh toh meri waali hai!” When the host and Alia probed him to name the person, Ranveer said, "Mrs Ranveer Singh", but when she asked for the full name, he replied, "Mrs Deepika Ranveer Singh Bhavnani Padukone." And he ended with a kiss on the placard and saying, “Baby!” Now, isn’t that absolutely adorable?
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh attended Nykaa Femina Beauty Awards on February 20, 2019, and it goes without saying, they looked dazzling together. Deepika looked stunning in a black gown by designer, Amit Aggarwal. Her custom-made gown had a pleated top half which opened into a flowy train at the back and she accentuated her outfit with a pair of sparkly earrings and hair tied into a sleek ponytail. On the other hand, Ranveer looked dapper in a dark pink, floral printed western formal suit.
In one of the many video clips that are going viral, Deepika revealed some secrets about her husband, Ranveer. Deepika also revealed that Ranveer would text her and ask her which particular outfit suits him the most before wearing it. Adding further, Deepika shared that Ranveer has more number of clothes in his wardrobe due to which he has got more options for dresses than her.
In a recent interview with the filmmaker, Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh called Deepika Padukone the ‘topmost chick’. He had said, “I have bagged myself the top most chick, so what do I have to worry about. I have never met anybody in my life who has captivated me like the way she does. I have been seeing her for six years before we got married and that is testament to the fact that no other person has been, or will be good enough to tempt me. She (Deepika) is really something else.”
During a media interaction at the Filmfare Glamour And Style Awards, Deepika Padukone was asked if she borrows anything from husband Ranveer Singh’s wardrobe. To this, Deepika revealed, “I have borrowed a lot of his sweatshirts and t-shirts." And when asked if Ranveer borrows anything from her wardrobe, she replied, "He's borrowed my sunglasses." When asked what she felt when Ranveer became her husband, Deepika shared, "I think soon after the ceremony was done. The minute we held hands it was different.
