Bollywood actor, Ranbir Kapoor is the son of veteran actors, Neetu Kapoor and late Rishi Kapoor. He had made his debut with the film, Saawariya in 2007, and over the years, he has given some hit movies, including Tamasha, Sanju, Barfi, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, among others. Ranbir had broken millions of hearts when he had tied the knot with his ladylove, Alia Bhatt. While his mommy, Neetu and wifey, Alia are avid social media users, Ranbir is not on any social media platform for the reasons best known to him.

Ranbir Kapoor had assisted his director-uncle, Rajiv Kapoor on the sets of the film, Prem Granth in 1996. In a recent interview, Ranbir opened up about his first paycheck, which he had received for the film and revealed what he did with it. In an interview with Mashable India, when Ranbir Kapoor was asked about his first paycheck, the actor revealed that he had got Rs. 250 for assisting his uncle, Rajiv Kapoor on the film, Prem Granth. He added that he had put that money on his mother, Neetu Kapoor's feet, and his gesture had left his mommy teary-eyed. Talking about the same, he said:

"My first paycheck was Rs 250 that I got while assisting on Prem Granth. Like a good boy, I went to my mother's room and I put it on her feet. She looked at it and she started crying. It was one of those filmy moments that I performed."

Further in the interaction, Ranbir talked about his secret Instagram account and shared that he has no followers and he doesn't post anything. He added that he might make his account public someday, but mentioned that he's doing well without social media. In his words:

"The thing is that I don't post and I have no followers. So what's the point?...I have nothing. So there's no point. But never say never. I could make my account public. But as of right now, I am okay. I am doing decently without social media. But like I said never say never."

Earlier, reports were rife that Ranbir Kapoor would make his debut on Instagram by announcing his marriage with Alia Bhatt and would share their wedding photos. However, it didn't happen. During an interview with Film Companion, Ranbir's mommy, Neetu had talked about the same and had shared that she feels that it is the right thing. She had mentioned that when actors give their fans an insight into their personal lives, the curiosity of their fans to see them on the silver screen decreases. In her words:

"With celebrities becoming more accessible, it has reduced the craze of fans to see them on screen. So thinking from that perspective, I feel Ranbir has done the right thing by staying away from Instagram."
