Ranbir Kapoor and Ali Bhatt made Christmas 2023 memorable for all their fans. The duo broke the internet by introducing their one-year-old daughter, Raha Kapoor, to the world, and the baby's blue eyes won many hearts. However, it looks like despite swooning everyone's hearts with his proud papa image, Ranbir Kapoor landed in trouble for one of his actions during the Christmas lunch at his uncle, Kunal Kapoor's residence.
Several inside glimpses of the Kapoor family's Christmas celebration surfaced online, and one of the videos from the cake-cutting moment went viral in no time. On December 27, 2023, a complaint was filed against Ranbir Kapoor and his family members at a police station in Mumbai for allegedly hurting religious sentiments with the viral video of them celebrating Christmas. However, no First Information Report (FIR) has been registered in the case as of now.

A person named Sanjay Tiwari filed the complaint at Ghatkopar police station through his lawyers, Ashish Rai and Pankaj Mishra. In the complaint, he claimed that Ranbir was seen pouring liquor on the cake and saying 'Jai Mata Di' while setting it on fire. Further, it was mentioned that the fire god is invoked before invoking other deities in Hinduism, but the actor and his family members deliberately used alcohol while celebrating the festival of another religion and chanted 'Jai Mata Di'. This gesture allegedly hurt the complainant’s religious sentiments.
For the unversed, Ranbir Kapoor was seen having a gala time with his family at the Christmas lunch hosted at his uncle, Kunal Kapoor's residence. In a video from the celebration, he joined Kunal to set the Christmas cake on fire using intoxicants. As a man poured liquor over the cake, Ranbir, who was sitting beside Alia Bhatt, lit it and said ‘Jai Mata Di’. Soon, the other family members also chanted the same and started giggling.

Talking about Raha Kapoor's first look, the blue-eyed star kid wore the perfect Christmas dress. In the glimpses, Raha was seen dressed in a pink and white tulle dress with a Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer work embellished on it. She completed her look with a pair of red shoes and pink floral clips. The Kapoor daughter was welcomed with a loud cheer, and her cuteness was simply unmissable.
