Ranbir Kapoor is soaking in all the love and appreciation currently for his upcoming film, Animal. While the trailer of the film is already up, and people are left in awe of his acting prowess, Ranbir hasn’t also missed out on entertaining his fans with some unheard anecdotes about his life. And now, during a promotional event for the same, Ranbir refused to shake a leg to the beats of his iconic song, Badtameez Dil from the 2013-film, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and the reason is totally relatable and every bit hilarious.
During the audio launch of his upcoming film, Animal, Ranbir Kapoor was asked to do the hook step for his popular song, Badtameez Dil which earned him a special place in the hearts of the audience. However, the actor revealed he does not want to dance to it anymore, and gave a very hilarious response to it. He revealed that the song, which is from his film way back in 2013, has been his constant companion all these years and added that now that he is 41, the hook step of his song has started to take a toll on his back. Requesting the event organisers to arrange one of his lesser-tempo songs in future, Ranbir said:
“Yaar main aap logon ko ek baat bata doon. Yeh gana 2013 mein release hua tha aur main jahan bhi jaata hoon, yeh gaana mere peeche aata hai. Main abhi 41 years ka hoon, mere se nahi hota hai yeh sab. Meri peeth toot jaati hai, so please. Mai sab event managers se aaj ye baat keh raha hu ki please ye gaane pe mujhe mat nachwana, koi slow gaana play karna.”

In his personal life, Ranbir is married to Alia Bhatt, and the duo is parents to their baby girl, Raha. During the same event, Ranbir revealed a special anecdote concerning his daughter, and revealed how the latter has learnt to reciprocate the gesture of ‘I Love You’ to her father. The actor shared:
“No no, she's responding, she's knocking eyes, when she has to tell I love you, she does this, she gives flying kisses. There is no bigger joy. It's the most joyful thing in life. So, I highly recommend it to all of you guys who have lots of children. Let's increase the population of our country."
For some time now, Ranbir Kapoor has been grabbing all the spotlight for some wrong reasons. Well, it all began when his wifey, Alia, in an interview, expressed that the former doesn’t like her to wear lipsticks and asks her to wipe it off. While such a revelation quickly made the actor grab the title of a toxic husband, in an earlier interaction with his fans, Ranbir opened up about how he deals with it. He mentioned that although he is not on social media, but he thinks negativity is equally important for an artist, since it creates a balance.

In an interaction with Zoom, Ranbir had opened up about fulfilling his daddy duties and revealed that he had taken a 6-months long break to be with his daughter, Raha. Spilling beans on all the milestone achievements his baby girl has crossed so far, he revealed:
“She is crawling. She is recognising. She is giving so much love, and she is trying to speak words like Pa and Ma. It’s a beautiful time to be around her, and I am going to cherish this forever.”
