Ranbir and Alia's April wedding rumours had started when the duo was spotted with the famous bridal designer, Beena Kanan. In the photo, Alia had worn a cream-coloured ensemble while Ranbir had donned a blue-hued shirt. However, netizens were quick to ask whether wedding bells were around the corner. While one user had written, "Is it Wedding bells", another had commented, "It look likes wedding bells."

Now, as per the latest reports, Ranbir Kapoor got a custom-made wedding ring for his ladylove, Alia Bhatt with a special connection to number 8. We all know about Ranbir and Alia's obsession with the number 8, and this time, the handsome actor, Ranbir got a wedding band for Alia with 8 diamonds encrusted on it. As per a report in India Today, Ranbir customised the wedding ring from an international brand, Van Cleef and Arpels.
A few months back, Alia had shared a post-workout mirror selfie on her IG handle, wearing a blue sports bra and legging set. It was her phone cover, which had spoken volumes about her love for Ranbir as it had a heart followed by ‘8’ which is her beau’s jersey number. She had captioned the picture as:
“20 done 20 to go #sohfit40daychallenge.”

In February 2021, Alia had interacted with her fans with a ‘True or False’ session and had answered questions about her love for food, animals and the number ‘8’. When asked if she loves number 8, Alia had replied, “True. Love”, making a hand-heart sign, and blushing throughout the video.
For the unversed, it was on the show, Koffee With Karan, when Alia Bhatt had confessed her crush on Ranbir. In 2017, while working in the film together, Brahmastra, the duo had fallen in love with one another. And on Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's wedding reception in May 2018, the duo had made a stunning appearance, holding hands, making their relationship official.
