Bollywood's charmer, Ranbir Kapoor is celebrating his 38th birthday today. It would not be an understatement to say that Ranbir Kapoor enjoys the same female attention that Devanand sahab used to enjoy in his time! And being an actor, who's extremely popular amongst the ladies, it is but natural for gossip columns to be always filled with speculations of his romantic affairs! As is public knowledge, Ranbir Kapoor is dating actress, Alia Bhatt (who, to remind you,) was his ex-girlfriend, Katrina Kaif's BFF! Anyway, let's not dig old graves. On Ranbir Kapoor's special day, we've brought to you a collection of the adorable love birds' traditional looks, which had made us swoon over them.
But before that, let's begin with an interesting anecdote of the couple's first meeting. Do you have any idea that if things had taken a different turn, Ranbir and Alia would have been launched opposite each other in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Balika Vadhu? Yes, Ranbir and Alia were roped in to play the lead roles in Balika Vadhu. Not only this, Ranbir and Alia had even done a photoshoot together for the same. Ranbir had recalled the story of his first meeting with Alia at the Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year Awards 2017. And get this, Alia Bhatt was only 11-years-old when she had met Ranbir Kapoor for the first time for the photoshoot in question! Talking about how shy she was, Alia had said, "I think I was 11 years old when I first met Ranbir, who used to assist Sanjay Leela Bhansali back then. I had to do a photoshoot with him. I was so shy because I had to keep my head on his shoulder. And I could not do it, because it was a really shy moment for me." Wow! And to imagine if that film wouldn't have floored, how different things would have been.
