Tollywood megastar, Ram Charan and his wife, Upasana Kamineni are soaring high on their personal front. For the unversed, the amazing couple got promoted as parents after the arrival of their baby girl on June 20, 2023. And after completing 21 days post her birth, it was on June 30, 2023, that the newbie parents announced the world the name of their daughter. After hosting a lavish naming and cradle ceremony in Hyderabad, Ram and Upasana have named their daughter, Klin Kaara.
While the massive fan bases of Ram and Upasana are going gaga upon learning the name of their daughter, we have stumbled across a little more update on the same. Well, it seems that this particular name was chosen by none other than Upasana’s mother, Shobana Kamineni. She revealed the same on her IG handle when she dropped a few glimpses of her granddaughter’s naming ceremony. Shobana also penned a post, where she revealed that she had made plans for naming Upasana as Klin Kaara in the first place, when she was born. In her words:
“Upasna, I wanted to name you KlinKaara, when you were born. Thank you both (Ram & Upasna) for the most perfect child of your love, who will be our future transformational energy. We love you Kaara."

It was on June 30, 2023, when the newbie parents, Ram and Upasana delighted their massive fan base by announcing the name of their little one. Taking to her IG handle, Upasana had dropped some fond glimpses from her daughter’s traditional cradle and naming ceremony. In the first picture, the baby girl was seen sleeping peacefully as her parents and grandparents surrounded her. Along with it, Upasana penned a note announcing her daughter’s name as Klin Kaara Konidela and also wrote a few lines about its significance. It could be read as:
"KLIN KAARA KONIDELA. Taken from the Lalitha Sahasranamam, the name signifies a transformative, purifying energy that brings about a spiritual awakening. A big big hug to our daughter's grandparents."
Apart from the pictures of the family members, Upasana had also dropped glimpses of the lavish décor that was arranged for the naming ceremony of her daughter. Taking to her IG stories, she gave a sneak peek into the amazing forest-themed setup that was made, which comprised of natural flower decorations, wicker baskets, plants and trees. The entire place shed off an earthy natural vibe.

Upasana Kamineni and Ram Charan along with their baby girl departed from the hospital for their home on June 23, 2023, when they were given a grand celebration by the awaiting press persons and fans. Thereafter, the duo conducted a small interaction with the media, and thanked them for their well wishes. During the same, when asked about whom the little one resembles with, the newbie daddy gave a witty response and mentioned that she obviously looked like him.
