The fans went into a frenzy when he called their marriage a situationship without knowing the proper context and usage of the term. Just two months later, Jackky is back in the news due to his alleged presence on dating apps.

The marriage of Jackky Bhagnani and Rakul Preet Singh has once again become the subject of online chatter. Recently, a Reddit user shared a screenshot of Jackky's dating profile from the platform Raya. The post went viral online, racking up hundreds of views. For the unversed, Raya is a bit different from conventional dating apps like Tinder, Hinge or Bumble. Raya is considered a highly exclusive social networking platform, as it is an invite-only platform that is popular among celebrities and high-profile individuals for dating, networking, or even making acquaintances.

Jackky's alleged Raya profile featured his first name, a London, United Kingdom location, and "Actor/Peoducer" in the bio. Many netizens and fans quickly pointed out that the profile is most likely fake or very old, especially due to the glaring spelling mistake ("Peoducer" instead of "Producter") in the occupation section. Some even defended Jackky, saying that even if it's a real profile, he might use it for professional networking, since it is not a strictly dating app. While many dismissed the screenshot as unimportant, others voiced concerns about his marriage, citing his past comments on situationships.

When Jackky Bhagnani called his marriage with Rakul Preet Singh a 'situationship'

Recently, in an interview on the YouTube channel Zingabad, Jackky Bhagnani spoke about his relationship with Rakul Preet Singh. When the interviewer asked Jackky what he thought about situationships and Gen Z's attraction to them, Jackky shared that he understands where they are coming from, as they do not want any emotional attachments. He added that even his marriage to Rakul Preet Singh is also a 'situationship'. However, he quickly added that they are exclusive to each other.

Meanwhile, Rakul Preet, who had been listening to him all this while, was experiencing mixed emotions. But she sighed, laughed and said, "Of course." Jackky's remark generated immense online buzz to the point that his wife had to clear up the issue herself in an Instagram post. He was quoted as saying:

"Situationship kyo aaj kal ki Gen-Z chahti hai kyunki unko kya hai na yeh pressure, yeh expectation and bandishein humko nahi chahiye. Rakul aur meri shaadi ho gayi hai, but we are like in a situationship. Yes, we are exclusive to each other, because we are married."

Rakul Preet Singh clarified Jackky Bhagnani's intent behind the 'situationship' comment

Days after the situationhip drama, Rakul shared a video of herself and Jackky discussing the incident. The video was a playful jibe in which she teased him for his comments. She reminded Jackky that they are 'millennials', thus, in no way should they act like  Gen-Z. Jackky, on the other hand, pulled his ears playfully and mentioned that he didn't mean it that way. Well, Rakul added that she knows this, but the world can't stop talking about it, so she thought she should come forward and speak about it. The caption could be read as:

"Ho gaya aap log ka bhi ab? Now laugh about it and move on."
