The Ketan Agarwal murder case has sent shockwaves across the nation. In a chilling revelation, the authorities who investigated his unnatural death shared that he became a victim of a conspiracy to kill. The 26-year-old Pune-based businessman was killed by Chetan Chaudhary, the lover of his fiancée, Siya Goyal, ahead of their wedding. What was initially reported on June 18, 2026, as an accidental 400-foot fall from Lohagad Fort was later exposed as a planned murder. Amid the ongoing probe into the horrific crime, some shocking details about Ketan's final moments surfaced.

Siya Goyal froze on knowing that Ketan Agarwal was alive after the fall

After throwing Ketan Agarwal off the Lohagad Fort, Siya Goyal and her lover, Chetan Chaudhary were probably relieved thinking that there were no obstacles in their love life anymore. However, a female police officer who arrived at the site after being informed of the dreadful incident reportedly told Siya that Ketan was still alive and needed to be rushed to the hospital immediately. According to reports, during Ketan's final moments, Siya froze and fell silent upon hearing about the chances of his survival. Her behaviour changed noticeably, and she was no longer in the right state of mind to answer any questions.

Ketan Agarwal's family demanded answers from Siya Goyal regarding the Lohagad incident

After Siya heard that Ketan was alive, she was shaken and stayed silent when her late fiancé's family asked her which foot of Ketan slipped, making him fall. They were apprehensive that Siya had witnessed the entire thing but couldn't share any details with the bereaved family. Ketan's sister, Sanjana Agarwal asked Siya where she was sitting, how Ketan fell, and how he reached the edge of the fort, but received no response. During the questioning, Siya's aunt reportedly took her away, saying, "You go, go."

Notably, it was the same aunt who fixed Siya's marriage with Ketan. After that, the bereaved family grew even more suspicious regarding Siya and her close ones hiding something from them. Ketan's sister even said in interviews that Siya's tears seemed fake and her behaviour unusual. Later, the family's suspicion came to be true when it was uncovered that she had planned the murder of Ketan.

Siya Goyal didn't like Ketan Agarwal for being bald

More than Siya Goyal's horrendous act, her motive was bizarre. As per reports, Siya, who initially agreed to marry Ketan Agarwal, later regretted her decision when she found out he was bald and wore a wig. Siya allegedly didn't want a bald life partner who also had a stuttering problem. Upon learning about those, her attitude towards Ketan reportedly changed. She no longer deemed him suitable for marriage. It was probably at that time that she gravitated towards her lover, Chetan Chaudhary, once again.

Ketan's father, Vishal Agarwal was shocked to hear Siya's statement about his son's baldness leading to her killing him. He stated that both Siya and her family knew about Ketan's baldness before they got engaged in February 2026. He then revealed that his son had medical reasons for which he had hair loss. He was heartbroken to know the baseless reason for which his son lost his life. According to him, murder is never an option when issues can be solved out through words. Vishal said that Siya could simply call off the wedding; however, she told police officials that she didn't choose that path as it would harm her family's honour. Vishal's exact words were:

"Ketan had a small patch of hair loss due to medical reasons, but this was clearly communicated well before the marriage was finalised. If she had any issues, she could have just said no. It would have been very easy for Siya to simply call off the wedding if that was an issue for her."
