While we begin the year with many news from the telly land and Bollywood duniya about couples getting hooked, here is another happy news about this celeb which is giving us another reason to rejoice. The famous actor who replaced the late actor Arjit Lavania in TV serial Mahakali- Anth Hi Aarambh Hai as Nandi, Abhishek Awasthi has finally tied the nuptial knot with his girlfriend, Ankita Goswani on February 6, 2018, in Mumbai in the presence of his industry friends and family.
A lot of friends from the telly industry attended and graced the occasion. Ex-Bigg Boss contestant, Arshi Khan showed up in her traditional ensembles, newlywed TV actress, Sweety Walia, TV actors like Himanshu Malhotra and Kunal Singh, to name a few attended the celeb wedding. The newly-wedded couple looked graceful with Abhishek donned in the traditional beige sherwani along with contrasting men dupatta to match with her bride, Ankita. She looked beautiful in her red-coloured lehenga and her golden-coloured jewellery well complemented her traditional bridal look. Truly, they both looked made for each other couple. The couple also had a pre-wedding shoot just before the D- day and they looked like a filmi couple in those romantic poses. While bride-to-be then, Ankita looked gorgeous like a princess in her white gown, her prince charming husband-to-be then, Abhishek looked dapper in his black suit. For those who do not know, the couple exchanged rings on February 5, 2017, in the presence of their close friends and family members. When asked about their marriage plans then, ex-bf of Rakhi Sawant, Abhishek replied to a leading portal saying, "I’ve always wanted to get married a day after the first anniversary of my engagement. Also, we didn’t have a roka. Maine bas ladki ko rok kar rakha tha (laughs). I decided to get married in Mumbai as many of my industry friends would not be able to come to Kanpur. A reception will be held in Kanpur later for my relatives." And talking earlier about his ladylove turned wife, Ankita, he remarked, "She is the kind of girl I have always wanted to marry. After being at wrong places, God has finally landed me at the right one."
Earlier in an interview, when he was asked about his honeymoon plans, this is what the groom retorted, “We plan to go to Italy. However, we will have to postpone it by a couple of months as I will be shooting and we also have a close relative’s wedding to attend."
