According to social media reports, Rajesh Sharma's health is doing well, and he is also set to return to work very soon. "Rajesh Sharma ji recently got discharged. He is currently recuperating at his residence in Mumbai. He is also set to travel abroad in the days to come to shoot for a project.”
Rajesh faced a health issue while shooting for Fauzi at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. This was on July 8, 2026, when the actor, while shooting, was bitten by an insect and he was hospitalised. According to reports, the alleged incident took place when the actor was speaking to local technicians in an area that had dense shrubs.

Since the insect bite appeared small, Rajesh did not see a doctor and proceeded with his journey to Kolkata on the scheduled flight. His health condition then worsened, and he had pain in his right leg coupled with fever and restlessness. Rajesh was admitted to Kolkata's Manipal Hospital.

Rajesh ji mum is very old and his sister was abroad so he is our family friend. When we got to know about this we rushed to the hospital and that’s when I also gave an earlier statement."
After Rajesh had come back from Hyderabad and was at home, he had a fever. Sudipta revealed that Rajesh thought it was a mosquito bite, and when he reached home, the actor developed fever. He was then taken to a hospital where he was admitted. Sudipta had then reassured fans by saying that his health was improving, but he remained under medical supervision.
