Rajesh Kumar is best known for his role as 'Rosesh' in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai and was last seen in the film, Saiyaara. Rosesh has been a part of the Hindi cinema that has always been star-driven, right from the start. It is because of a star factor that a movie often gets its budget, and the promotions are always done around the corner. However, Rajesh showed the industry's reality and revealed the class system in the movies.
On Aftab Puntoo’s YouTube channel, Rajesh Kumar revealed that if someone visits the sets of a big film, conversations about it are limited to only 4 to 5 people. He shared that there are just a handful of people who discuss everything on a movie set. It includes- the director, the cinematographer, the main actors and the main writer. The rest of the people and their experiences don’t count for anything. Rajesh Kumar further shared that he had never worked with Amitabh Bachchan, but he had heard that the veteran actor likes to rehearse his scenes with the supporting cast. However, that is not the case with the other stars. Rajesh revealed:
“Lately, I have not seen any main actor rehearse with us. Either they rehearse with the writer or the assistant. They don’t have any interaction with the secondary cast, and that is why the film suffers because sometimes people think that the secondary actor might overshadow us."

Rajesh Kumar also shared that some actors are insecure about working with talented supporting cast members, so they tend to throw hurdles in their way. Rajesh shared that this is done so that the secondary cast, like, gets their lines at the last moment. This way, the actor is just consumed with learning the lines.

The success of a movie depends not only on the star but also on the supporting cast, who help ensure it is a wholesome experience. Well, the case was not at all the same as Dhurandhar's. Rajesh shared how there has always been a class system on the sets of movies where the lead star does not even speak to the supporting cast members. Rajesh Kumar did not take anyone's name but remembered a personal experience with a great actor who had not even looked at him and had asked the assistant why Rajesh was acting in a particular way. The actor remembered:
"I have worked with some ‘great actors’ who will not look at you and will ask the associate, ‘Yeh aisa kyu bol rahe hain? No, we don’t need rehearsal. We will go for a take. I am just saying that we need to get out of this system.”

Rajesh Kumar had highlighted many negative incidents that occurred in the industry. He also highlighted the positive side and revealed working with actress, Dimple Kapadia on the sets of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. He revealed that Dimple always had an interest in learning a lot about the stars she was working with instead of being in her bubble. Rajesh revealed:

"In this matter, there was Dimple Kapadia who inspired us,” he said and recalled that one day, as the cast members were fawning over her, she thanked them for all the compliments and asked them about their lives. Five minutes into the conversation, she just said, ‘Sorry to stop you all. I take all the compliments with gratitude but please tell me something about yourselves."
