The reality show, Bigg Boss has given us many celebrity jodis, one such cute couple is Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar. Their love story had begun with a compliment on social media, which was followed by the realisation of love and proposal on national television. It was during Rahul Vaidya’s stint on the reality show, Bigg Boss 14, when on Disha’s birthday, he had proposed her for wedding on the national television. Since then, the two are enjoying their courtship period.

Ever since Rahul had come out of the Bigg Boss 14 house as the runner-up, his and Disha’s social media feeds are filled with mushy pictures of them. When Rahul came back to his 'Disha' after the show, Bigg Boss ended, they both had posted mushy pictures on social media from the welcome celebrations of the singer. While Rahul had captioned his post as "Back to my Direction (Meri Disha) #cutie", Disha had written, "My Trophy is home! @rahulvaidyarkv."
Rahul Vaidya is currently in Cape Town as he is one of the 14 contestants of the upcoming reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi season 11. Rahul has been sharing pictures from the shoot but the handsome singer is also missing his ladylove, Disha. On May 28, 2021, Rahul took to his IG handle and shared unseen pictures with his ladylove Disha, where in one of the pictures, he was seen kissing her. Along with the pictures, he wrote, “Miss U @dishaparmar” followed by a heart emoticon.
On International Women's Day 2021, Rahul Vaidya had posted a picture with his aai, his sister, Shruti Vaidya and his soon-to-be wife, Disha Parmar. Penning a beautiful note for three pillars of his life, Rahul had written, "To the three pillars in my life... Aai, thank you for always supporting me through all the ups and downs. Shruti, thank you for always letting me trouble you since we were kids but tu jaanti hai ki usmein hi mera pyaar hai. Disha, life has been so beautiful since we met. Thank you for being there. Happy women’s day to you three and all you beautiful & powerful women out there. Dhanya Dhanya Naari Jeevan Auron ko hi tu arpan…"

In a throwback interview with The Times of India, Disha Parmar had revealed the she was shocked with Rahul Vaidya's proposal on national television and how the promo made her teary-eyed. Speaking about her family's reaction, Disha had said, "I was celebrating my birthday with my friends when a promo of him proposing to me broke on television. I was taken by surprise because I had no idea that he would do something like that. Hum date toh kar nahi rahe the ki proposal aa jaaye. There was no denying that I liked him, but I was shocked. We liked each other, but never spoke about our feelings and he straight away proposed for marriage! It took a little time for things to sink in. Even my family was surprised. I had tears in my eyes while watching the promo. Then I thought about it. There was no way I could have said no. He came out for a week in between and we got an opportunity to discuss it."
