Disha Parmar and Rahul Vaidya’s fans are rejoicing in happiness as their favourite couple is set to tie the knot on July 16, 2021. During Rahul Vaidya’s stint in Bigg Boss 14, he had proposed his girlfriend, Disha for marriage on national television. On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, Disha had visited Rahul inside the BB house and had accepted his marriage proposal.
On July 6, 2021, Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar had released an official statement on their respective social media handles to announce their wedding. It could be read as "With the blessings of our families, we are delighted to share this special moment with you all. We are elated to announce that our wedding is set to take place on 16th of July, 2021. We seek your love and blessings as we begin this new chapter of love and togetherness. Love, Disha and Rahul. #TheDisHulWedding."

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Rahul revealed how the reality show, Bigg Boss 14 brought him and Disha close to each other. Talking about the same, he said, “I am happy that Disha has gotten to be with me so closely. When you are dating someone, she lives at her place and I live at mine and we meet just for a certain amount of time. But because of Bigg Boss, she saw me 24*7.”
Rahul also revealed that since Disha had seen the worst of him in the house, she knows how he reacts to a particular situation. In his words, “She has seen every side of mine, so I am assuming that there would be no surprises or shockers when we get married.”

It is just nine days left for Rahul and Disha’s union and the handsome singer reminisced his love story with Disha. In an interview with Zoom Digital, Rahul talked about their first interaction and said, “The first time I met her was..(pauses), I had done a song Mere Rashke Qamar, which went viral on social media. She happened to see it on Jitesh Pillai's Instagram. And that's the time she actually went up to my profile and she just dropped a message that 'loved it and very well sung'. And that's the time we started talking to each other on Instagram first.”
It was later when Disha and Rahul shot a music video together, and they got to spend time and know each other better. Talking about the one liner he used to impress Disha with, Rahul stated, “I said, sahi ghode pe daav khela hai.”
