Disha Parmar and Rahul Vaidya recently hosted a naamkaran ceremony for their newborn daughter on November 14, 2023. For the unversed, the couple embraced parenthood for the first time with the arrival of their baby girl, Navya Vaidya, on September 20, 2023. Now, Rahul dropped some adorable glimpses of the celebration, which are simply unmissable.
On November 17, 2023, taking to his IG handle, Rahul Vaidya dropped a series of pictures from his and Disha Parmar's daughter, Navya's naamkaran ceremony. In the glimpses, Rahul looked dapper in a black-hued kurta paired with a white pyjama and an embroidered Nehru jacket. On the other hand, Disha looked the prettiest in a dual-shade Benarasi saree with gold motifs on its border. With her hair tied in a bun, Disha opted for dewy makeup and gold jewellery to accentuate her look.

In the other pictures, we can see the newbie parents, Disha and Rahul, posing for some adorable pictures with their baby girl. Navya looked the cutest in a pink-hued tulle dress, but her face was hidden with a flower emoticon. The duo showered love on their daughter and kissed her cheeks. However, the most heart-melting moment was when Rahul kissed Navya's feet, while Disha carried the latter in her arms. Sharing the pictures, Rahul penned:
"Navya’s Naming Ceremony.. #NavyaVaidya."
On November 12, 2023, Rahul Vaidya took to his IG handle and shared some glimpses of his Diwali celebration with his family. In the pictures, he and his wife, Disha Parmar, posed for some super adorable portraits with their baby girl. Disha looked stunning in a mustard-hued sharara set with white thread embroidery all over it. Pairing her dress with statement jewellery, she opted for a bun hairdo. Meanwhile, Rahul opted for a sea-green-hued kurta with mirror work embellishments and teamed it with a white pyjama.

Earlier, in an interaction with The Times Of India, Disha Parmar opened up about her newborn daughter, Navya and revealed why she chose the special name for her. Reflecting on the same, the new mommy mentioned that the very first moment when she saw her daughter, the name 'Navya' instantly clicked in her mind. Elaborating more on it, Disha had said:
“We were looking for a girl’s name from the beginning. Although I kept wondering what if we have a boy… we don’t even have a name. When we saw our baby girl, we were so happy and certain about the name Navya. We are glad to share it with everyone now. Rahul and I felt this name is an apt name as soon as we saw her. We said this is it, she’s our Navya. Her name means praiseworthy.”
