It was on November 11, 2020, that Rahul Vaidya had proposed to his rumoured girlfriend, Disha Parmar for a wedding and on February 14, 2021, the gorgeousness had said ‘yes' to him. Now, five months later, the couple is all set to tie the knot on July 16, 2021. Their wedding festivities had begun with Disha and Rahul’s mehendi rasam and their pictures and videos have taken social media by storm.
On July 14, 2021, Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar had organised an intimate mehendi ceremony. For the function, Disha had opted for a rani pink kurta with mirror work details and had looked gorgeous. She had completed her look with a light green sharara, keeping her tresses half-tied and a heavy neckpiece. On the other hand, the groom-to-be, Rahul Vaidya had looked dapper in a kurta-pyjama twinning with Disha's sharara. After the function, Rahul and Disha had shared glimpses from the same on their IG handles.

The D-day for Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar has finally come. The couple is getting dressed up as a bride and a groom before the festivities begin, and Rahul Vaidya's look as a dulha is finally out. Rahul's friend shared a video on his IG stories, where, Rahul can be seen wearing an off-white sherwani with golden thread work over it. On Rahul and Disha’s mehendi function, the singer had sung the song, Mehendi Laga Ke Rakhna for the actress as he was accompanied by his saalis. Other than this, in one of the viral videos, Rahul was also seen trying to find his name in Disha’s mehendi clad hands, however, she had stopped him.

On July 12, 2021, Disha Parmar’s friends had surprised her with a bachelorette party. The actress had shared pictures from her bachelorette party on her IG handle, which were all about fun. For the party, Disha had kept her look casual as she had worn a black crop top with blue denim and the 'bride-to-be' sash had completed her look. The pre-bridal glow was unmissable on Disha’s face. Disha had captioned the pictures as "I love you girls" followed by heart emoticons.
On July 7, 2021, Disha Parmar had a small Maharashtrian function at Rahul Vaidya’s sister’s home. In a conversation with ETimes, Rahul had the pre-wedding function that had happened at his sister’s house. He had shared, “My mom is very excited. On the 7th we had a function at my sister’s house. In Maharashtrians, we had a function called Kelwan where a sister calls his brother and sister-in-law to her house so we had that function. It was so much fun, I felt so good. Disha’s family was also there with all of us and it was so good."
On July 6, 2021, Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar had released an official statement, announcing their wedding on their IG handles. It could be read as "With the blessings of our families, we are delighted to share this special moment with you all. We are elated to announce that our wedding is set to take place on 16th of July, 2021. We seek your love and blessings as we begin this new chapter of love and togetherness. Love, Disha and Rahul. #TheDisHulWedding."
