Tagged as one of the stunning millennial jodis of the glamour world, Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar are on cloud nine as they are all set to tie the knot on July 16, 2021. Their fans are waiting with bated breaths to see their favourite couple as husband and wife. The second runner-up of Indian Idol 1, Rahul had expressed his love for Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara fame, Disha on national television when he was in the Bigg Boss 14 house. Later, Disha had visited the show to accept Rahul’s proposal.
A few days ago, Disha Parmar had posed with the t-shirt which Rahul Vaidya had worn in the Bigg Boss 14 house, on her birthday, to propose her. Sharing the pictures of his 'girl', Rahul had written, "A T shirt I can never ever forget... had proposed to my girl using this. Gonna frame it! @dishaparmar." On his post, Disha had commented, "Am just soo lucky to have gotten you! @rahulvaidyarkv."

On July 6, 2021, Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar had announced the news of their wedding, and since then, we are hooked to their respective social media handles for more updates. In the pre-wedding fun going on at his home, his friends and family were seen dancing. In another video, his friends were seen having fun with the soon-to-be bride and groom, while cheering and hooting for them.
To announce the news of their wedding, Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar had released an official statement on their respective social media handles. It could be read as "With the blessings of our families, we are delighted to share this special moment with you all. We are elated to announce that our wedding is set to take place on 16th of July, 2021. We seek your love and blessings as we begin this new chapter of love and togetherness. Love, Disha and Rahul. #TheDisHulWedding."

In an interview with The Times Of India, Rahul and Disha had spoken about the details of their close-knit union in the presence of their close family and friends. Talking about the same, Rahul had said, “Disha and I have always been in favour of a close-knit wedding. We want our loved ones to attend our big day and bless us. The marriage will be held according to the Vedic rituals and we will also have Gurbani Shabad sung at the ceremony.”
Asserting to her beau, Rahul Vaidya's statement on the idea of a close-knit wedding, Disha Parmar had continued, "My idea of an ideal wedding ceremony is an intimate affair. Marriage is a union of two people and their respective families with their dear ones in attendance. I have always wished for a simple ceremony and I am glad that’s exactly what we are going ahead with."
