When the handsome singer, Rahul Vaidya confessed his love for actress, Disha Parmar, their friends couldn’t stop themselves from rejoicing. The second runner-up of Indian Idol 1, Rahul had expressed his love for Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara fame, Disha on national television when he was in the Bigg Boss 14 house. Later, Disha had visited the show to accept Rahul’s proposal.
On July 6, 2021, Rahul and Disha had given a sweet surprise to their fans when the duo had announced the news of their wedding. Rahul and Disha had taken to their official IG handles and had released an official statement, which could be read as “With the blessings of our families, we are delighted to share this special moment with you all. We are elated to announce that our wedding is set to take place on 16th of July, 2021. We seek your love and blessings as we begin this new chapter of love and togetherness. Love, Disha and Rahul. #TheDisHulWedding.”

Ahead of Disha Parmar and Rahul Vaidya's much-awaited wedding, the soon-to-be-bride gets a bridal shower from her friends. A few hours back, Disha took to her IG handle and shared pictures of her intimate bachelorette party. In the pictures, Disha looked stunning in a black crop top and denims with a 'bride-to-be' sash. The happy bride's pre-bridal glow was unmissable. Along with the pictures, Disha wrote, "I love you girls" followed by heart emoticons.
In an interview with The Times Of India, Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar had spoken about the details of their close-knit union in the presence of their close ones. Talking about the same, Rahul had said, "Disha and I have always been in favour of a close-knit wedding. We want our loved ones to attend our big day and bless us. The marriage will be held according to the Vedic rituals, and we will also have Gurbani Shabad sung at the ceremony."

The pre-wedding fun of Rahul and Disha’s wedding had begun a few days back. In one of the videos, we have seen his friends and family dancing and enjoying. In another video, his friends were seen having fun with the soon-to-be bride and groom while cheering and hooting for them.
In an interview with Zoom Digital, Rahul had talked about their first interaction and had said, “The first time I met her was..(pauses), I had done a song Mere Rashke Qamar, which went viral on social media. She happened to see it on Jitesh Pillai's Instagram. And that's the time she actually went up to my profile and she just dropped a message that 'loved it and very well sung'. And that's the time we started talking to each other on Instagram first.”
It was later when Disha and Rahul had shot a music video together, and they got to spend time and know each other better. Talking about the one liner he used to impress Disha with, Rahul had stated, “I said, sahi ghode pe daav khela hai.”
