The duo, who will tie the knot ceremoniously in July 2024, had recently celebrated a three-day long pre-wedding bash on the first week of March. From glimpses of the star-studded line-up of performances to the lavishly decked up venue, everything about the bash has already created a sensation on the internet. And now, we stumbled upon a rather special yet unseen moment from the festivities, wherein it was none other than the Ambani bahu-to-be, Radhika Merchant, who stole our hearts.
While scrolling through our social media feed, we stumbled upon a clip shared by Zoom, that captured a very special moment of the bride-to-be, Radhika Merchant. The glimpse dated back to the first day of her pre-wedding festivities with Anant Ambani, wherein she could be seen dancing her heart out to the beats of a peppy track. She was jumping with glee, along with her best buddy and social media sensation, Orhan Awatramani, a.k.a, Orry. While Radhika donned a multi-hued frilled dress, Orry, on the other hand, sported a formal three-piece suit.

Well, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities was everything majestic in its scale. From gala performances by global artists to lavish clothes, all was tailored to perfection. Moreover, being the most gracious hosts, the Ambanis sent off a unique pre-wedding favour for each of their guests. It included a stunning, hand-painted duffle bag, featuring realistic animal motifs, which paid an ode to the newly established animal rehabilitation centre, Vantara. The bag was made of handcrafted, cruelty-free leather, and also had wheels for ease of movement.
Earlier, in an interaction with the Vogue, Radhika Merchant made some heartfelt confessions about her love story with Anant Ambani. The young lady opened up as to why the two of them zeroed down on Jamnagar as their venue to host pre-wedding festivities, and revealed that the place is extremely close to both her and Anant’s family roots. Elaborating more, she said:
“Choosing Jamnagar was our way of honouring our roots and the family’s legacy. It’s the place where Anant works and where we spend much of our time, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It is also where Anant’s grandmother, Kokilaben, was born and truly where our heart is. Anant and I both believe that this is our karma bhoomi, or land of duty.”

Another highlight of Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding bash was the stunning sartorial picks opted by the latter. From ethnic, Indo-western to chic modern looks, Radhika nailed every bit of it. On the second-day of the celebration, she dressed up in a corset-inspired lehenga from the shelves of the designer, Manish Malhotra. The choli of her outfit was designed similar to the vintage corset, and was made out of a metal mesh drape, each of whose folds was adorned with 20,000 Swarovski crystals. On the other hand, the intricate detailing on the pleats of her lehenga was the hard work of over seventy artisans.
