It was on February 29, 2024, when Deepika and Ranveer took to their IG handles and announced the 'good news'. Soon after that, the to-be-parents flew to Jamnagar to be a part of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding soiree and enjoyed their hearts out. Later, Ranveer alone graced Radhika and Anant's extended celebration in Jamnagar as he was a part of the Reliance dinner. Now, a video from the event went viral, wherein the bride-to-be, Radhika Merchant cutely wished Ranveer and Deepika the 'good news' in Gujarati, and it won our hearts in a fraction of a second.
An inside video recently went viral from Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's extended pre-wedding celebration at the Reliance dinner. In the video, we can see Radhika Merchant and Ranveer Singh being present on the stage, after the latter delivered an electrifying performance. However, Radhika took centre stage and wished Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone as their family is going to be extended by the arrival of a little one. Radhika congratulated Ranveer in Gujarati, and the crowd started screaming out of joy at the top of their lungs. Dad-to-be, Ranveer looked delighted as he thanked everyone by bowing down. Radhika said:
"Thank you so much. Now Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's family is gonna grow from 2. So congratulations for that from our Jamnagar family to your family.”

On the other hand, we stumbled upon some unseen glimpses from the Reliance Dinner. In one of the candid photos, we can see the to-be bride and groom being caught in a candid frame as the first woman of the Ambani family, Kokilaben Ambani sits in between them. The photo truly screamed love as all of three can be seen lost in laughter and joy. Another photo featured a chit-chat session between Radhika and Anant. We also stumbled upon a candid photo of the bride-to-be, Radhika Merchant, and oh boy, she looked beautiful.
A video from Day 2 of the Ambani bash went viral, wherein Ranveer Singh could be seen interacting with the guests as he hosted the show. The handsomeness was seen being excited as he said that seven years had passed, and now Anant and Radhika are getting married. The actor also screamed that he was having a baby. In the video, he further turned to Deepika and complimented her by saying that she was glowing. He added that he had loved her since her last life. He also excitedly asked Deepika what the secret behind her glow was.
Soon after announcing the 'good news', Ranveer and Deepika set off to Jamnagar. For the day, the parents-to-be twinned in white-hued ensembles. Ranveer looked handsome in a white t-shirt, which he teamed with a coat and matching pants. He finalised his look with a cool cap and a pair of sunnies. Deepika looked pretty in a white dress, which she wore underneath a soft-white cashmere cable-knitted cardigan. Moreover, it was her pregnancy glow, which was simply unmissable.

It was on February 29, 2024, when Ranveer and Deepika in a collaborative post announced that they are soon going to be parents. The duo shared a picture note while revealing that they are expecting their first child on "September 2024, Ranveer and Deepika." The picture note had some paintings of bibs, shoes, hats, buttons, and clothes. However, the picture featured double pairs of paintings, which left the netizens to wonder if the duo is expecting twins.
