Radhika Merchant opened up about the successful mantra behind her happy marriage with Anant Ambani. She revealed that both of them have always contributed equally to the relationship and marriage. Even though both have had to make compromises in various situations, it has been a marriage of equality. Radhika, speaking about her marriage to Anant Ambani, shared:

"Even in my marriage, both of us are equal in every aspect. There are some places where Anant leaves, and then there are some places that I leave. But overall, if we meet each other with respect, I think we're equal."

Radhika Merchant has always radiated a positive aura with her smile and public speeches. The younger daughter-in-law of Mukesh Ambani opened up on the importance of mutual respect and an equal partnership in a relationship. She shared that financial freedom was very important for women so that they could make their own choices and also achieve real empowerment.

"It really doesn't matter whose daughter you are or whose wife you become or how comfortable you are in your life. You have to be able to have financial independence to be able to make your own decisions. Never be tied to something in your life because you don't have an option to get out. That is a very dangerous place."

Radhika Merchant, further speaking on the importance of financial freedom, revealed that to achieve gender equality, one has to create a lot of equal opportunities for women. This will help them become self-reliant and shared that if one does not allow for women's financial independence, then it is an issue. Radhika feels that if financial independence is curtailed, then one cannot achieve full equality.
