Radhika Gupta is the CEO of Edelweiss Asset Management and was recently seen as a judge on Shark Tank India 3. A graduate of the Management and Technology Programme at the University of Pennsylvania, the businesswoman has worked relentlessly towards the company's growth and success. Radhika is married to her husband, Nalin Moniz, who is the Chief Investment Officer of Alternative Equity at Edelweiss Mutual Fund. The duo is blessed with a son named Remy Gupta Moniz, who they welcomed in June 2022.

Radhika Gupta shares the valuable advice passed on by her mother

Radhika Gupta never misses a chance to inspire many young minds with her insights on entrepreneurship. She also advocates for working mothers and often shares advice for them. Recently, Radhika took to her IG handle and posted a photo of herself holding her baby boy in her arms. Alongside the photo, she penned a caption, which can be read as:

“If you are ever feeling mom guilt because you’re stuck at work too long or took on a new project or even just took out time for yourself while managing a child… remember this!”

Radhika Gupta shares a powerful note for working mothers

Radhika also shared a heartfelt message for new mothers who are finding it difficult to balance their careers with the responsibilities of motherhood. Atop the photo, she penned a beautiful note which talked about the invaluable advice that her mother gave her. Radhika's note reads:

“My mom gave me the best piece of advice on motherhood. She told me that no mother is a bad mother. You can be poor, rich, educated, uneducated, working, not working, but not a bad mother. No mother wants less than the best for her child.”

Radhika Gupta opened up about joining Shark Tank India 3 soon after embracing motherhood

Earlier, in an interview with ETimes TV, Radhika Gupta opened up about joining Shark Tank India 3 within a month of embracing motherhood. Talking about the same, the businesswoman revealed that she has been watching the show since the beginning. Radhika shared that she was enjoying this new phase and has wanted to join the team since season 2 and said:

"I have been watching season 1 and season 2. Before joining the show, I watched a little more of season 1 and 2. I am not unfamiliar to Shark Tank. In fact, I have been having a conversation since season 2 but I just delivered a son. He is one-month old. I am glad it's materialised now."

Radhika Gupta on managing motherhood and business

In the same interview, when Radhika was asked about how she has been striking a balance between motherhood, her business and the reality show, she said that it was chaotic for her. Elaborating on the same, the entrepreneur shared that her son accompanies her wherever she goes and has even spent a lot of time on the Shark Tank sets. She added:

"It is chaotic. Even as I am doing this press con, my son is here. When I was getting my hair and make-up done, he was in the suite and he spent a lot of time on the Shark Tank sets. He stayed with me. I have always believed that motherhood shouldn't limit your ability to take on new opportunities, whether it is professionally or things like this."
