Raashii Khanna returned to Bollywood after eleven years of her first film, Madras Cafe. She left everyone impressed with her stint in the movie, Yodha, where she portrayed the character of a negotiation in-charge officer. While the film failed to leave a mark at the box office, Raashii’s chemistry with her on-screen husband, Sidharth Malhotra, grabbed the limelight. Moreover, the duo's camaraderie during their appearances for the promotional events of Yodha also made headlines.
In an interview with News18 Showsha, Raashii Khanna opened up about her bond with Sidharth Malhotra and shared that they aren’t the thickest of friends in real life. Having said that, she added that they shared a respectful relationship while shooting so there was no ice that needed breaking. Raashii also added that Sidharth was her type and said:
“I’m an introverted person just like him. We aren’t great friends. It’s not like we’re buddies or we talk all the time. We share a good and respectful co-star relationship. During shoot, we would keep to ourselves. There wasn’t really any ice to break. When I met him, I thought he was my type. He also felt like I was his type since we’re both introverts. And so, we never tried to encroach each other’s spaces.”

When Raashii was asked about the secret behind their onscreen chemistry, she revealed that they both understand the craft pretty well. The actress also admitted that she knew that she and Sidharth would look good on screen, but she had no idea that they would get immense love from the audience. In her words:
“We understand the craft. We know what’s required of us as actors every time a love song comes our way. I knew that we look good onscreen, but I couldn’t have imagined that we would get such an amazing response from the audience. They loved us together. It’s great that it worked.”
However, Raashii also added that since she and Sidharth were both born in Delhi, it made them connect easily. Talking about the same, the Farzi actor shared that they had many conversations about the city, books and their respective films. Raashii concluded:
“We also share the Delhi connection. But the only thing ‘Delhi’ about us is our accent (laughs). He asked me, ‘Tu Dilli se hai?’ After that, we had some conversations about the same city. He also reads and so, I had some conversations on books with him and about films in general.”
Earlier, we stumbled upon a video of Sidharth Malhotra, wherein he was seen walking with Raashii Khanna. The actor looked dapper in a grey-hued t-shirt paired with green trousers and a biker jacket. On the other hand, Raashii opted for a blue-hued bodycon dress. However, what caught everyone's attention was that the actor was seen holding Raashii's hand as they walked by the paps.

Soon after the video was shared online, it left Kiara Advani's fans shocked. They flooded the post's comment section and schooled Sidharth Malhotra for holding Raashii Khanna's hand. One user wrote, "Sid yeh kiara nahi hai", another penned, "@kiaraaliaadvani Mujhe laga apko yeh video dhekna chahiye aur phir hum same recreate kare!!" Meanwhile, some other netizens tagged Kiara Advani in the comments and asked her to watch the video once.
