Marriage is the most awaited phase of a woman’s life. All she dreams throughout her childhood is getting dressed and looking the best on her wedding day. Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna fame, Puja Banerjee is on cloud nine as she is all set to tie the knot with her long-time beau and fiancé, Kunal Verma, after two years of being engaged. Puja and Kunal had met on the sets of the show, Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna and had dated for 9 years before getting engaged in the year 2017. Puja had looked stunning on her engagement as she had donned an ensemble by designer, Rohit K Verma. She had opted for a gorgeous multi-coloured blue and red lehenga with a plain blue choli and a pink net dupatta. She had complemented her look with traditional Rajasthani jewellery. After being engaged for two years, on International Women's Day, Puja had announced that she and Kunal are all set to tie the knot soon.
In an interview with The Times Of India, Puja has revealed details of her wedding. She has not revealed the exact date of her wedding and has just said that it will happen in the month of April. But one of her close friends has revealed to India Forums that Puja and Kunal will tie the knot on April 15, 2020, and have told their relatives and friends to keep themselves free on April 15. Puja revealed that she will have a Bengali wedding and would opt for a red Benarasi saree, whereas, Kunal would opt for a dhoti and a traditional Bengali headgear. (Also Read: K.G.F. After their engagement, in 2018, Puja Banerjee had revealed that due to professional reasons, she and Kunal Verma weren’t planning to get married. But on March 8, 2020, Puja had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared the big news of her much-awaited wedding with all her fans. Announcing the same she had written, “Big news on this women's day I want to share this with all of you @kunalrverma you complete me I have been a daughter, a sister, a friend, a girlfriend and now finally going to be a wife. It’s time to be together forever so are finally getting married. Need all of your best wishes.” Amidst the congratulatory messages that flooded her post, her fiancé, Kunal commented, “Let’s do this.” Through her Instagram stories, Puja also gave a glimpse of her ‘bride tribe’.
