Global icon, Priyanka Chopra is living a beautiful phase of her life with her hubby, Nick Jonas and their daughter, Malti Marie. However, she opened up about being a not-so-chilled mother and revealed how she understands why her mother, Madhu Chopra was the same. She also revealed how close she was to losing her daughter many times, and what impact it had on her. For the unversed, Priyanka and Nick were blessed with their princess, Malti via surrogacy in January 2022.
In a recent interview with Elle Magazine USA, Priyanka Chopra shared why she can never discipline her daughter, Malti. Post birth, Priyanka's daughter was in the NICU for 100 days, and it was only on Mother’s Day 2022, when Malti was brought home. Thus, Priyanka mentioned that she was close enough to lose her daughter many times. And due to this, all she can think of is Malti's happiness. The doting mommy stated:
“I don’t even know how I’ll ever discipline her (Malti) because I just don’t have it in me. I was so close to losing her so many times that she can get away with anything and I just want to see her happy. I want her to be the happiest. She’s a super smiley, happy baby, and that’s all my goal is—to see her joyous.”

Moreover, in the same conversation, Priyanka talked about being a not-so-chilled mommy like her mother, Madhu Chopra. She mentioned that in her childhood, she often used to ask her mommy to chill down. However, now she can understand why mothers can ‘rip apart’ people when they hurt their kids. Priyanka added:
“I was like, ‘Mom, chill out. What are you doing?’ Now I get it. I would take someone out.”
Priyanka has some exciting projects lined up, including the spy thriller series, Citadel, the romantic comedy, Love Again, and the Bollywood film, Jee Le Zaraa, in her pipeline. Thus, she needs to be away from her kid often. After one such outing, when she had returned to her husband, Nick and their princess, Malti, on April 23, 2023, we got glimpses of her presents for her little one. Taking to her IG stories, Priyanka shared adorable glimpses after she reunited with her daughter, Malti. In the first picture, we could also spot Priyanka showing Malti her new toy aeroplane, and the baby girl looks excited.

A while back, Priyanka and Nick's daughter, Malti made her first stage appearance with her singer dad. In one of the pictures posted by Priyanka, Malti could be seen listening to her father's song through a headphone while Nick was rehearsing for his concert. In another picture posted by Nick Jonas, the doting daddy could be seen holding his baby girl while rehearsing for his concert. On the other hand, Malti looked cute while engrossed in doing the sound check.
