Afterwards, Priyanka Chopra Jonas shared various anecdotes from her conversation with the US Vice President, Kamala Harris. Taking to her IG handle, she shared a series of pictures and videos and talked about US voting rights in her long caption. Mentioning her lineage to the social welfare issues which had come into her from her parents and grandmother, who was in civil services in India, she raised the importance of voting for women. Talking about this, she added that while she doesn't vote in the US. However, her husband, Nick Jonas does, and their daughter, Malti would also one day vote. An excerpt from her note can be read as:
"While I don’t vote in this country - my husband can and one day, my daughter will. My conversation with VP Harris centred around the most pressing issues, that, in order to be addressed, needs to have a clear vision and plan."
