Recently, Priyanka attended an event along with several famous Hollywood stars, and a chatter soon did the rounds that she was ignored by the singer, Dua Lipa, as they were posing for the paps. Such clips grabbed a whole lot of attention. However, an influencer called out people's action of sharing such clips to spread negativity and Priyanka also reacted to the same.

Priyanka Chopra attended Bvlgari’s Eclettica High Jewellery event in Milan. The actress slipped into a black-toned outfit and looked gorgeous. In the clip, Priyanka was seen posing with Anne Hathaway, Dua Lipa, Liu Yifei, and Jake Gyllenhaal. Well, Dua and others were seen posing as they got engaged in a conversation, and PeeCee also posed alongside. The videos instantly began a chatter, as people started wondering if PeeCee was ignored by Dua Lipa at the event. Such clips drew a whole lot of negative attention.

An influencer slammed people who spread negativity around Priyanka Chopra and Dua Lipa

And amid this, an influencer shared his take on the same. The influencer named Vishwas Verma shared the clip and mentioned whether it was really important for people to spread negativity like this. He said that PeeCee is a global star, and thus, sharing such content, which looks like people are deliberately trying to show her that she doesn't belong there, is nothing but a way of gaining attention by spreading negativity only. He said:

"If an Indian goes abroad and becomes successful, what should we do – support them? No, instead remind them of their ‘place,’ that they’re just an Indian… How can she go there and stand alongside Hollywood stars? These Indian paparazzi pages first use Priyanka Chopra’s photos and videos for free to rack up views, and then push comments suggesting that she is irrelevant in that crowd."

The influencer said that Priyanka is someone who is loved and known worldwide, but it's really unfortunate how she is treated in her own country and how people use her photos for their own social media gains.

The influencer called it an unfortunate thing for the actress. He mentioned that such videos, which are meant only to get a million views for free, are somehow demeaning in a way that they make people or the subject feel that they don't deserve to stand on equal grounds with an international star, even though that person is a global star, and that's very unfortunate. The video got a like from PeeCee, and that spoke volumes about her feelings. He could be quoted as saying:

"She is someone who is loved worldwide, and the only hate she gets is, unfortunately, from Indians. I don’t understand this mentality… We assume we’re not even worthy of standing or competing with people abroad, while they see us as equals. We don’t see ourselves that way and that’s really unfortunate. I don’t know why we do this… People take millions of views in her name for free, and then go on to defame her."

Priyanka Chopra made her Hollywood debut in 2015 with the American crime drama Quantico. She later made her film debut with Baywatch in 2017. She has since starred in Isn't It Romantic, The Matrix Resurrections, and the Prime Video series Citadel. The actress is all set to be seen in The Bluff and Heads of State.
