Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas walked down the aisle on December 1-2, 2018, at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhavan Palace and it is surely counted amongst the most lavish weddings of 2018. For the unaware ones, Nick proposed to Priyanka in July on her birthday and that’s when she said ‘Yes’. On August 18, 2018, the lovebirds got ‘rokafied’ at her residence in Mumbai in the presence of their close friends and family members.
Recently, Nick and Priyanka shared some unseen pictures from their fun-filled mehendi ceremony. The couple captioned their respective post as, "One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing. An important part for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi. Once again we made it our own and it was an afternoon that kicked off the celebrations in the way we both dreamed. @nickjonas." Ever since these two beautiful souls got hitched, pictures from their wedding and other ceremonies have been knocking our social media feeds. One picture that went viral on the internet is that of the then bride-to-be and now newbie bride, Priyanka with her mother-in-law, Mama Jonas a.k.a. Denise Miller Jonas. As soon as this picture floated on the internet, trollers started attacking Priyanka and hilariously trolled her for her age. Random Instagram users started commenting and comparing this beautiful saas-bahu jodi. While one troll read, “Lol, I doubt Priyanka is in her 30s”. Another user wrote, “Braytiful. but in my eyes. MIL is more beautiful”. Other stated, “they’re not of same age as you said. Goris have good genes they don’t get older that quickly. Priyanka has dry skin and women with dry skin gets older quickly. FYI, the latest reports suggest that after hosting two wedding receptions, Priyanka and Nick might host third one in Los Angeles. As per a Mid-Day report, "After their honeymoon in Switzerland, Priyanka will fly down to Mumbai for a schedule of The Sky Is Pink. She will join Nick in LA towards the month-end, to host a reception for their friends. Her team is currently doing a recce in Malibu and will soon finalise a venue. It will be a black-tie event, with Priyanka’s close friends Kerry Washington, Dwayne Johnson, Ellen DeGeneres, and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, on the guest list. Many other Hollywood stars, including her co-stars from A Kid Like Jake and Isn’t It Romantic?, and Nick’s friends from the music fraternity are also expected. Besides her family, Priyanka’s cousin Parineeti Chopra is also likely to fly down for the soiree." And on the account of their honeymoon, a source had revealed, "Priyanka has a few ad campaigns lined up, which she needs to shoot for in the coming week. Post that, the couple will throw a bash for the film industry either on December 15 or 16." The source further added, "The team will take a short break during Christmas. That's when Nickyanka [as they are popularly referred to] will fly to an exotic location for their honeymoon. PC will leave the country around December 27 and return in the first week of January”.
