For those who have been waiting for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ marriage, would now be super-excited as we have stepped into the wedding week. For the ones who don’t know, Priyanka and Nick will become mister and missus on December 2, 2018, in a lavish and grand wedding at the famous Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur.
Prior to the wedding, the pre-wedding rituals will kickstart by a mehendi ceremony on November 29, 2018, at Mehrangarh Fort, followed by a sangeet ceremony. The following day on November 30, 2018, Nickyanka (as their fans call them) will be hosting a cocktail party for their close friends and family. Lastly, on December 1, 2018, there will be a haldi ceremony. Each and every ritual of a Hindu wedding ceremony will take place. While all the wedding preparations are in full swing, the celebrations are also going on hand-in-hand. The actress who was shooting for her upcoming movie, The Sky Is Pink wrapped up her last schedule in Delhi and landed in Mumbai lately. Well, her film's director Shonali Bose and producer Siddharth Roy Kapur hosted a surprise party for the couple. Pictures of the couple from the party have gone viral wherein we can see Priyanka and Nick cut a cake and popped some champagne with the team of The Sky Is Pink. Off late, on a chat show named, The Daily Show, Nick revealed why he chose Priyanka as his life partner. The singing superstar was quoted as saying, "So many things. I could go into all of it and get all mushy but, I think the thing that really connected both of us is our love for family and faith and the importance of being connected to those who are always going to be there for you. We found that in each other as well, which is a beautiful thing. I'm excited to start our life together." For the ones who don’t know about their love story, the two met each other at the Met Gala red carpet together in 2017. According to the reports, they were introduced by Chopra's Quantico co-star Graham Rogers in April 2017. A source had earlier revealed to People.com, “They are so happy. His friends and family have never seen him like this, and they’re all really excited for him. He’s definitely very serious about her.” It further stated, “People are saying it’s a great match because they’re both so talented and understand the industry. Priyanka knows how to have fun, but there’s also a gravitas to her. The same goes for Nick.
